I feel like we may need to start hanging these images up in every room Trump regularly visits in the White House. Maybe have a second, more modern version that includes fingers/phones and social media.

Exactly. It's highlighting the flaws in our checks and balances system. The current checks aren't working when they're on the same side and refuse to buck him on issues like this.
I'm wondering if this may finally spark some backlash, but I'm not getting my hopes up. The GOP were having private discussions in recent weeks discussing how to deal with the Trump problem and his mental state that they felt was going to cause them huge headaches. Him now freely giving information to Russia like this HAS to be turning some heads....right? .....Right?
Badly aged tweets, season 01 episode ∞
Our worst fears confirmed.
For anti-Trump people, this is excellent news believe it or not. I wrote yesterday that the most likely series of events is that the news story about Trump's relations with the Russians will break in Europe as a result of an official leak from their government to their media outlets, in response to Trump endangering their national security.
Something like this (though not necessarily this) is exactly what it would take.
Hang him for Treason.
He talks about national security like he's hawking a Trump Steak on us.In his meeting with Lavrov, Trump seemed to be boasting about his inside knowledge of the looming threat. “I get great intel. I have people brief me on great intel every day,” Trump said, according to an official with knowledge of the exchange.
What the fuck?!
It doesn't have to necessarily be illegal to something that he could be impeached for, or added to the file for those seeking it. This is an outright natsec concern and Trump just shit all over our relations with the people on the ground giving us this information. It could also lead to our investigation being compromised and agents/methods being revealed.
It's a huge fucking deal. Illegal? No. Dangerous as fuck? Absolutely. It proves that Trump can't be trusted with top secret information.
For being a threat to national security and general all-round incompetence. That goes under the 25th amendment.
I know you love him because of his white nationalist rhetoric, but you are going to need to find a white nationalist who isn't incompetent and doesn't pose a national security threat for 2020. Trump just isn't cutting it.
Personally, I thought he'd be out sometime in early 2019 after the mid-terms. Looks like I was too generous in my estimation of Trump.
Goddamnit. This needs to change. We have a thin-skinned President who acts like a child publicly. For most anyone in government discussing such matters with an adversary would be illegal. As president, Trump has broad authority to declassify government secrets, making it unlikely that his disclosures broke the law.
Can this just end already? This kind of stupidity is actually traumatizing. Only made worse by people WHO STILL STAND BEHIND THIS.
If anyone needs an example of how far Trump's supporters will go.... ^----
The security of the United States when classified information is revelead to our most aggressive adversary, is apparently not far enough.
THis is why I say, for people like lockedout, the end of Trump is something that will happen to them, like their house burning down, or a flood washing away their lives. It's really not contingent on us to "explain" or "make it okay" with them. It's going to be fucking torture to people like him, and that's a good thing.
The ending is just the beginning repeating
Everything goes away but comes back some day
The ending is just the beginning repeating.
I think we just got our feet wet.
Loved him in 2nd season of Fargo, I hope he gets casted in more serious stuff, see "The Founder".

"Applause in the newsroom as the Russia-leak scoop breaks the Hollywood Access record for most readers per minute."
The President of the United States can share intelligence with other actors, as he sees fit. It is the job for NSA, CIA, etc. to obtain information and it is the job for the president, above all, to decide how to use it (including whether to classify/declassify/share it). Obviously he thinks sharing information about ISIS with the Russians is important in fighting terrorism.
Everyone knows by now that the Russians want the Islamic State destroyed even more than we do to protect their puppet Assad. We should be sharing ALL of our intelligence with the Russians and coordinating strikes until there is nothing left of Islamic State. There is no reason NOT to share intelligence with the Russians on this matter.
The reason we don't share such intelligence with our "allies" in the region is because those "allies" are the very people funding Islamic State, like Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
What really needs to happen is a fundamental shift in our allegiances in the region. Saudi Arabia and Turkey need to be given the boot, Iraq needs to be strengthened, Syria needs to be allowed to be rebuilt, and the Iranians need to be turned to our side after we straighten out a proper deal with them so that they don't get nuclear weapons (which would make Israel mad), but they are given guarantees that we won't attempt regime change against them so they don't feel the need to build nukes in the first place.
Hey, there's an question.
Aren't those "allies" themselves created ISIS? Saudis.
Or he just leaked it while bragging about it which is more likely given the rest of the conservation that was apparently had. He was bragging about receiving all this awesome intel and gave an example of it Russian officials. The example happened to be his briefing on a top secret terrorist plot.

You don't share everything because it risks compromising the investigations and allowing agencies, countries, and methods to be exposed to your enemy. The information was being classified as so sensitive that no one knew the details but people who fell in the need to know category.
