How is it nasty on anyone first of all, and how is it nasty on men? What the fuck is "nasty" about hair? Is the hair on your head nasty? Or is it not nasty because YOU CLEAN IT?

Bacteria breeds in moist, warm locations. Providing more surface area only increases the viability of your pit as a bacterial breeding ground. It happens very quickly, and showering enough to prevent it strips your skin of natural oils.

The hair on my head is exposed to free air flow and is generally a low humidity environment.

Also, I've always been a swimmer and involved in swimming competitively. I have a bit of bias because of the culture of that.

I can see effeminate males and competition swimmers shaving them, but a regular dude?

I don't care what other women do to prove their point. If not shaving makes them happy, then by all means. BUT I'm gonna keep shaving my legs and pits because I prefer it that way. I don't like feeling 'hairy'. I keep other areas trimmed, too. Even in the winter time. I feel clean, and I like that feeling. I've tried not shaving, and it drives me insane. I shower every day, and only need to shave once or twice a week. Works well for me, and I know my husband likes it, too :P

ehhhhhh, If I could not have a single strand of hair on my body save for my head and face I would. I'm not grossed out by body hair per se but I sure as hell prefer not having body hair on me or my partner. /shrug

my only issue with hair is BO. Like if you dont want to shave down there or your arm pits then dont. but dont do that then complain when people say you smell. Hair attracts BO. Use deodorant god damn it!
