My wife and I do not eat lunch. We have a small breakfast, then eat supper earlier than most at 3 - 4 pm. Then a nap and a few snacks in the evenings.

Yay! F2.1 gets to stay home this afternoon. That means she has asserted control over the kitchen and lunch looks like it will feature chicken wings with Chinese characteristics (they prefer the middle segment with the two bones) and a whole bunch of chili peppers. Who knows what else, but it will be something good.

Edit: "Else" turned out to be a starchy root whose name escapes me at the moment, cloud's ear fungus, and a mix of pork with chili peppers. It was all, indeed, quite good.

Ah, yes, the root is Chinese Yam (山药)

It is saturday today, so doing groceries which means we buy baguettes and freshly squeezed orange juice. Have just eaten a baguette with egg salad and tomatoes on it alongside a glass of fresh orange juice.
