Christie takes family to closed beach, pisses off voters

The beach is closed, if anyone else did what he did they would be charged with tresspassing. State police are at the entrance of every state park, beach etc. Campers who already paid for camp sites are getting the shaft. Christie also flew back and forth 4 times from that beach house to Trenton for meetings using a helicopter and full police escort when landed on the tax payers dime.

Hours later Christie denied he’d even been on the beach. After the photos were posted online Sunday and, predictably, went viral, the governor’s spokesman said: “He did not get any sun. He had a baseball hat on.”

When asked if he thought it was fair that his family could enjoy the park though other New Jersey’s residents could not, the governor said the beach house wasn’t near the park, adding his family didn’t seek state services. His advice Saturday for those state residents who wanted to use the beach: “Run for governor, and you can have a residence there.”

It's not his fault the state legislature forced the parks to be closed. They are closed due to a lack of staff, in this case, lifeguards. Since Christie is factually a whale, he does not need lifeguards. His family is safe due to security staff, etc.

The federal government did it just over 3 years ago. The people that are tasked and trusted to take care of these sort of things don't care. They still get paid and a work stoppage just means time off for them.
