I guess you know that they also had mine fields, a water trench, barbed wires, watch towers, armed guards and a second slighly taller wall there to make it work .

High enough to go past the sky right up to Heaven's doors. Imagine how effective solar panels would be amidst all that constant holy light.

This. So, about 50,000 feet tall. Also it would have to be built the whole way around India, not across part of Mexico.
OMG 13:37 - Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Cleave unto me, and I shall grant to thee the blessing of eternal salvation."

And His disciples said unto Him, "Can we get Kings instead?"

How tall was that wall used to keep the white walkers out of Westeros?

To keep my country men ( half american) out??? 1 feet...most of them are to fat or lazy to get over that :P:P

But for real...the wall is a empty promise, one that is to expensive. Will not work. And only will be a symbol of hate.

The only reason most people want it is because of their jobs ( the ones they did not take in the first place , so immigrants could take them).

Seven houndred feet I think but they had a gate through the wall which were pure stupidity on their part.

Hey, Fun Vans are European thing! Are US gonna steal that from us?
Can we cement him INSIDE the wall? Then it would be worth it.
I am not a Republican or a Democrat..... I just hate Trump with a passion. If he was on fire I wouldn't piss on him to put him out.

We should just build a giant dome around the U.S. and be done with it.

The wall should be taller than it is now.

The better question should be, how deep should it go?

Make it too big to easily climb over, and people will tunnel under it. Sorta like they already do with the existing wall (fence).

Twenty feet deep should do it.

Hasn't there been negative net immigration from Mexico for like the past 8 years?

You mean Mexicans are moving from the USA and back to Mexico? I don't think so, especially with the drug wars and the corrupt police.

During the recession the jobs vanished and wages completely stagnated. Farmers have been reporting a major lack of workers for picking fruit and vegetables even now. Sure, people in northern Mexico in the border towns want to get away but tons of Mexicans in the states were just working and sending money back to their family in Mexico prior to the recession. I think legalizing drugs would do more for combating the cartels and corrupt police in all honesty.

Yes you have a point there.
