Considering how many millennial hate the USA and think we are such an evil horrible country, I think what you want is already happening.
I mean, shit, the fact nobody ever mentions how utterly bloody, barbaric, and horrible communism is shows an error in the education system. Or how socialism is a failure.

I'm a British gay Muslim Pakistani American citizen, ask me how that works! (terribly)
Not entirely true. Freedom of speech is certainly relevant here as an ideal (though I think the tradeoffs here are fine. Dick things have consequences) and it's still relevant in the legal doctrine sense because Public employers (this seems to be a public school if I read it right) have additional restrictions on their ability to discipline or take other negative action based on speech.
For a normal job they can just fire you for anything they don't like that you said, regardless of how it affects your job. For gov't employer, they can generally only discipline or restrict speech so far as that speech impacts the workplace. Since this is pretty damn disruptive they're probably totally in the clear, especially since they didn't actually fire him, but it's still a relevant issue.
What on earth are you talking about
Seriously, where is this guy getting arrested, or put to death for what he did?
He lost his job, not his head. Freedom of speech never stretched to job security, it only protects you from the government.
I'm pretty sure how horrible socialism was in Russia during the Cold War is covered quite a bit. Except the issue is that we don't truly know everything that happened, so it doesn't have as much depth to it as what Hitler did.

Once again this needs to be corrected. I mean, you're right somewhat with regard to this case, but woefully off the mark in concept.
Here: for the sake of a cliff's notes version https://www.popehat.com/2017/01/25/q...lic-employees/
TL;DR Public employees' personal speech that is not part of their duties is protected (that is a government employer cannot fire that employee for it) but only so far as it doesn't undermine the employer's interest in discipline and order (in this case an orderly and productive teaching environment)
It's not that it "needs to be corrected". In this specific case that we are talking about, as shown by what you just said, freedom of speech has nothing to do with this.
I didn't say fired though, hence, semantics.
Yes, it does mean though that his punishment was not nearly as severe as people are making it sound, but he DID lose his job/position.

I feel sorry for you, never having had any modern history class in your basic education plan. Socialism is not a failure, in fact you use socialism, your roads are paid by it, your infrastructure is, your libraries, schools, security forces.
Actually socialism is used in every nation and all western nations use a mixture of many political and economical ideologies and strategies.
I do like how you keep proving how terrible your education system is by being a prime example of how it failed.
