You're right. I was thinking time would pass quickly and Azeroth would be ruled by a Black Empire, but warped time only applies to Argus and not Azeroth.

Omfg this would be an amazing tie in to the Anduin comic where he is much older. I mean, it wouldn't make sense if Anduin is in his 20s or something, and then we played like 20 expansions for him to get to 60 or w/e he was in the comic, not to mention that it would be stupid if our character was for example a human, and still retained the same age as start of the game. This time distortion will instead fast forward us to 30 years from now I think, in a different azeroth where Anduin has grown up. That would be epic.

That's nice. He still never appeared in pre-event invasions, as I said before. His only recent appearance since WotLK was at the Broken Shore.
