I mean it probably is.. people were able to see that there was an alternative to one of the most disliked people in recent (american) political history. The way they handled his candidacy was also kind of .. well everyone was able to see that democrats are just suit-wearing pond scum which happens to target another crowd. With all the other no-bodies that were on the table this would have been probably more digestable, but when you try to pander to the left wing crowd and your only argument is that she (probably) has a pussy and try to gloss over her acting more like a republican in the past, you have a hard time when someone actually left leaning also runs..So him not running, especially for the democratic party, would have surely "impacted" her campeign positively.

If you feel that it's "your turn" (remember everyone in the Clinton camp saying this during the primaries), and that you're entitled to not only be the nominee, but the PotUS, then of course you feel it's the other candidates' fault that you don't win, and not your own fault, at all.

Looking for someone to fault here, aside from Hillary herself, point your fingers at all the people in the media and late night who had their heads up Hillary's ass during the primaries; all the late night shows who shat on Bernie and laughed at his expense. What the fuck do you think Bernie supporters are going to do, when their candidate is being laughed at and demeaned, and painted as a crazy cook because of his hair and what he's saying, described as a communist even by the right, 24/7? You think they're then going to "do a favor" to those people doing the laughing and fingerpointing? You think they're going to "vote for the good of the country"? Yeah, he appeared on shows, and people were cordial with him. Next show, be it Colbert, Maher, or the like, they were making fun of him, calling him in not so many words crazy. Colbert dissing Sanders, Maher going on rants about how Sanders should drop out. Treating him like he wasn't really there, like he was a joke candidate. Conan, Kimmel, Fallon even got their jabs in, although less of course since they don't really seem like such huge dickbags as Colbert and Maher.

And, of course, then there's the Clinton fanbase, who dismissed Sanders as well, but that's to be expected. "BernieBros", "socialist", "misogynistic", you name it. All that bullshit came from the Clinton camp. "BernieBros" and rumors of misogyny was picked up by the mainstream media and late night shows as well.
