Can anyone clarify?

Within any group of views, you will find extremists. They are not interested in nuanced discussion of facts, and have developed such a distorted view of the world that factual statements get confused for opinion (and the reverse...confusing opinion for fact). This is true for RW and LW, MRA and SJW, etc, etc, etc.

The primary problem is whether the behavior you observe is one of the extremists, or if it is the standard for that group. Personally, I haven't run into SJWs that are that over-the-top, but I don't doubt you've encountered some. From what I've read, that kind of opinion is on the fringe of the overall SJW movement.

This is different from a number of other movements where such behavior is the norm. For example, members of white supremacist groups behave in a similar way as a rule, not as an exception.

You go on and on typing here. But you have yet to be clear what you said, or did according to them!!! So you try to make people agree with you. But you do not give the whole info. And if you where sexist or a bigot. ( looking what you have said so far that could be the case). They have a full right not to respond to you.

Kinda, they do seem to be a lot more common than the extreme right*, actually a lot more common, dare I say at least half. I'm seeing very very little radicalism from the right and a whole lot from the left. Not to say at least half of lefties are violent, but they might be of the sjw/Marxist type.

*Nazism is a leftist ideology btw and the KKK is a product of the Democrats, true it's on the far right though.

So, I lean left on most of my opinions but I'm playing GW2 and mention that over the last 17 years of MMO gaming I have encountered a HUGE amount of guilds that have a mostly male core with the exception of a couple of females who a lot of the said males are trying to "eBang."

I immediately get jumped and am told that I am being sexist... toward females!

What the hell? This is a thing that definitely exists. I've seen it at least a dozen times personally over the years. And if it didn't exist wouldn't it be more sexist towards males?

Rather that explain they just told me I was a bigot. I ask "So, you have played MMOs since vanilla WoW and have never seen this?"

Then looking at what you said about e-banging, and talk about SJW and them calling you a biggest/sexist. We might assume that where trying to hit on 1 of them and they did not like it. To clarify. Lets change it to a real world location. A disco/bar thing.

1. You go in there assuming everyone goes there to get laid/hookup ( and you make it sound like all bars/disco's are like this) . While most people also got there for fun, music, hanging out etc. You act according to this believe ( that they are for hookups etc). And most likely they did not like it. And got you kicked out of the place. You most likely did not take no for a answer or said something that was very wrong. They would not be social justice warriors in this case. They would be normal people. And you would be a a-hole.

The only reason you can be right is if it happenend like this:

They are not more common. if you look at both political spectrum's the normal people on both sides are drown out by the extreme's. Because when is the last time you hear a republican voter on tv etc talk about things in a normal matter.
And no...because you are suggesting that 27 mil Americans are SJW....extremely doubtful.

I think there is a huge misunderstanding about the term social justice - I mean go wikipedia and read the article. Is this really what you are flaming here?

In Germany (currently elections coming in 2 weeks) not even the right-conservative party (CDU - Merkel party) dares to bash social justice but has it in their program. There isn't.
"Champagne socialism" is worth the mockery, even if socialism isn't.
Just like "SJ warrior" is worth the mockery, even if SJ isn't.
The complexity comes from pointing out who is a sjw and what do they stand for. But not in ridiculing a class of people on their specific understanding or implementation of what they could self-describe as.
