The question was whether or not people at home who sit while watching a football game and the anthem plays and military who make a point to not be outdoors when reveille/taps are being disrespectful. They aren't. Athletes who take a knee during the anthem are.

Only if one were to redefine the term "double standard" into some other meaning.
Nah. Colin did his thing. It was in the media for a few days and then it went away.
A year passed and then Trump resurrected it from the grave as Colin couldn't get hired by another team.
Either way, it's a nontroversy and it would come to an end if people would stop reacting to it.
Putin khuliyo
NFL players are supposed to stand for the national anthem if they are on the field when it plays. US military are supposed to stand (and salute, actually) if reveille/taps is played while they are outside. That's not a double standard. As for when you're in the privacy of your own home, that doesn't apply precisely because you are in the privacy of your own home. I feel like I'm arguing with a 13 year old here.
Sorry, that is complete bullshit.

Then you would be the 13 year old in this situation. Since there is no rule that says they have to, and this rule won't even get installed, not if Goodell doesn't want a lockout again.
