Yep, I agree the pace was much better! However 7.2 was shitty in terms of storytelling and I felt like Argus' story felt somehow disconnected? I don't like time-gated content, to me it's better to experience the full storyline straight away.

I did Argus recently on Alt and I think the gap between weeks 2 and 3 felt more natural. Week 3 basically begins with "Legion has took notice of our presence in Mac'Aree, we need to push them back now!". During week 2 quests there were practically no demons on Mac'Aree, the place were mostly ignored by Legion.

Depending how it’s done I think time gating works. The 7.1 Suramar campaign imo was the best example. Wasn’t gating other content behind it and made sense lore wise.

Argus’ time gating I think was also pretty fair. Only 3 weeks. If goal was to not overwhelm people it worked pretty well.
