    Reporting people beeing boosted

I was wondering how you report people that are obviously receiving boosting/piloting to glad ratings, one of my friends is currently using one of these services and i for one am disgusted by it, i confronted him about it and he says nothings going to happen to him anyway, is there a way i can reliable report him for doing this

Who needs enemies with friends like you?

Make screenshots of him admitting to it, when talking to you and send them to blizzard. But man ... why would you do that to a friend?

    I hope you get cancer

Blizzard doesn't need screenshots (as they are easily faked), they have chatlogs. As long as they have a rough idea when it's more than enough for them to do something... that is, if they do something. Someone I know admitted to using AHK to use abilities for him in raids and even argued that it was okay to use, that was back mid Nighthold and Blizzard have done nothing still to this day. So I guess they were right after all!

To quote one of the champions in the warrior order hall: Our enemies are closer than we think.

Highly doubt it, unless he bought said gold from a third party website.

Boosts paid with legit in-game gold are allowed, whereas those paid with real money are not. The problem with reporting cash boosts is the chat conversations are rarely in-game. Boosters will require the client to join Skype or Curse to discuss fees, which Blizzard can't trace or confirm if reported.

You can screenshot the ads in LFG if they mention dollars, but that's about it for carries. If your friend bought/sold a pilot, you can request the GM to trace IP logs to see if Player A logged into Player B's account. What's sad is that if they don't care about their accounts being locked, they can just make new ones, boost to 100 and start again within a day. People who do boosts regularly deserve perma-bans since they won't stop otherwise.

LOL @ these twerps trying to guilt the OP because of some skewed sense of loyalty to the friendship.
When it comes to morality I'd expect nothing less from this generation/era.

Because that is an absolutely necessary reaction. Right.

I think its important to note that boosting a selfplay for gold is actually legal, but only in that instance. Obviously cant play someone elses account or use real money for any transaction.

Lol at these people calling him a crappy friend.

I'd report my mother for cheating if she was doing so.

account sharing do is a banable offense, especially for boosts such as this one.

at least on paper tho, Abn openly sold carries for years and was never banned

Getting a boost with gold is within ToS like how others pay for their M10+ or M Raid clear, as long as it's not done with real money or account sharing he/she's free to do so.

well thanks for some more reasonable answers, ive discovered hes wintrading though, im guessing witch hunts arent allowed so i wont link a specific person but its actually insane how many people are wintrading up the ladder right now
1 quick look at https://xunamate.com/history/3v3 shows you people that have +200 with the same win/loss and if you click their name again u see their history and its exclusively +22 evry game, when you click an honest rank 1 players log they have a series of +/- 10-20 point games up the ladder, wonder if blizzard is ever going to do something about this seeing as some of these wintraders actually had gladiator titles in previous seasons
not to mention over the last few days checking history ive noticed atleast 50 players doing this, quite crazy considering theres like 300~ gladiator spots to gain overall
    EDIT:
whatever if witchhunting isnt allowed just remove this last part or ask me to
heres 2 obvious examples for wintrading right now:
    https://xunamate.com/player/Xavius/Abdallahlol
    https://xunamate.com/player/Thunderhorn/Aerlis
1 for someone that already wintraded his last glad and is doing it again:
    https://xunamate.com/player/Die%20Aldor/Dec%C3%A6y
1 that namechanged after hitting his gladiator rating in order to avoid ban im guessing:
    https://xunamate.com/player/Blackrock/Wynwangwa -> https://xunamate.com/player/Blackrock/Washimi
and 2 players thats actually queue the normal ladder and have multiglad:
    https://xunamate.com/player/Al'Akir/Rezuz
    https://xunamate.com/player/Sylvanas...fernand%C3%A9s

If he is getting boosted without win trading it's ok.

And the people bashing on OP because he is reporting a friend? The fuck is the matter with you. You don't turn a blind eye to something just because a friend is involved. You do the fucking right thing.

I don't really get how "boosting" is bad.

Account sharing. Real money transactions. Win trading. THOSE are bad if it involved it... but boosting is how the game works.

You will never have all players on the team of completely equal skill level, so someone is always 'boosting' the other. If someone is good enough to win with a carry as a handicap, more power to them.

You gonna start demanding blizzard start banning players you think are "bad" for getting Mythic clears ?
