I mentioned a few pages back. Goku has yet to beat a top tier opponent in Super yet. He even lost to Frost. He tied with Toppo in the anime and Toppo put up a hell of a fight, including causing Goku to drop out of his SS form and tanking an instant transmission Kamehameha to the face.

Why? Because it doesn't follow the exact same path as the anime?


Out of character? To lose?

#1 Yeah because there are too many pointless inconsistencies... and I haven't did them any better or more interesting than the anime, especially the fights are much better in the anime.

#2 To lose without giving it his best shot, yeah it's pretty out of character... I mean in the Anime they were pretty close and Goku only used Kaio Ken x1, not x20... but since in the manga he doesn't have Kaio Ken for some reason I dunno...

Winnie the Pooh hasn't beaten anybody or been seen as a credible threat at any point. So nay.

Goku couldn't beat:
Beerus
Frieza (because of Frieza cheating)
Hit
Black/Zamasu

Matter of fact, I think it's fair to say that Dragonball Super has Goku jobbing most of the time. Probably to try to even out his Win/Lose ratio from Dragonball and Z.

Or maybe not to even out the w/l ratio...

Dragonball Z victories:
Goku had to sacrifice his life to stop Radditz, I guess that counts as a tie. 0
Goku beats Nappa +1
Loses against Vegeta -1 (Vegeta lost to the combined efforts of Krillin, Gohan and that Yajirobe with Goku's broken body playing a small support role at the end).
Defeats Recoom, and Burta. Jiece retreats to fetch Ginyu. +2
Loses against Ginyu. -1
Wins against Ginyu when Goku traps Ginyu in a frog's body. +1 I guess?
Beats Frieza: +1
Loses against 19 due to heart attack: -1
forfeits against Cell: -1
Gets sucker punched by Vegeta: -1
Barely pulls off a win against Kid Buu: +1

So it's totally not out of character for Goku to lose. He's done enough of it throughout DBZ anyway.

technically was vegeta that developed the strategy of genkidama and without mr satan it would failed.
goku alone was defeated by bu's stamina

Id say it was an okay episode. I mean its coming off the back of Goku v Jiren and Jiren v Hit. But overall I liked the character development of Cabba and Vegeta. I liked Toppo giving one of the sickest burns that even team 4 star would be proud of to Vegeta, I liked the Nameks fighting even though it was short. I liked Frieza v Cabba too.

Also I am like 100% sure one of the robots went WRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! after Caulifla kicked it
