The Desolate Council is most definitely the evolution of our order halls, so we'll be acting independently of our race leaders, which tidies up the rep grind issue with the old factions nicely.

It's not though its an interm government that replaced sylvannas that has people who are against what sylvannas is doing with the Val'kyr

I hope she isn't a raid boss.. From a RP perspective, I like to play as a Undead Rogue who is very loyal to the Dark Lady no matter what and be very anti-alliance. It's fun RPing as an "evil" characer, which Forsaken are. for the most part. I don't wanna team up with alliance to kill her unless she threatens me. hehe

It was the same thing with Seige of Orgrimmar which I didn't really like. Being "forced" into standing up against Garrosh and attacking Orgrimmar was a bit.. eeehhh
What if you Roleplayed as a Orc Warrior Garrosh fanboy ( I wasn't) but was forced to kill him and his followers even though you secretly were blindly following him?

But its really probably not a faction war,
its probably sylvannas using Nathanos to raid Stormwind for corpses to raise more dead going against the desolate council causing more inner termoil within her own city as a fair amount of her own constituents are already against her.
and if there are "Key" figures buried in stormwind or a "catacombs" underneath stormwind/cathedral its a good opportunity for more Nathanos development
