Probably a Feral Druid so I can have the ability to tank five gorillas.
A soldier will fight long and hard for a bit of colored ribbon.
None. Vanilla was not good enough for me to start playing, now that I'm older and have more life than back then it's even less.
Warrior or Rogue.
Rogue were absolutely immersive, great storylines, and super fun in wpvp, etc.
Warrior just shone, loved tanking in vanilla, Dreadnaught tier... that cheap-shot "CRUNCH"... so good.
Also, the huge amount of awesome weapons and even legendaries available just add flavour to it.
Probably Warrior as i fucking miss tanking back then. Crushing Blows. Stance Dance. Managing Threat on multiple targets. Bring it.

Probably a warlock, and then i'm going to twink out a hunter while leveling.
I was a paladin in classic, not going to suffer through that again. So probably mage. Alternatively, warlock for the extra tankiness. The thing I most hated about being a paladin in classic was how shoehorned into being healers we were. Our buffs were powerful, but there was no skill in buffing 40 people with 5 minute buffs. It was a pretty miserable raiding experience overall.
Oh the other reason for paladin, BUBBLEHEARTH LOL ROGUE U MAD?!
Most classes are garbage in vanilla except for rogue and warrior, so probably one of those, might make a warrior.
If I were interested in Vanilla, I'd have to look at...well, what options were even viable. I've heard tales of buffadins and resto shamans being the only real options for those respective classes, for example.

Vanilla WoW sucks. Not interested.
At least now the legacy whiners will finally stfu.
