No they don't, they've managed to boot up an old version of the game, that's all. What's left is building the entire platform that is supposed to run this version of the game.
At about three-four points of the interview Brack reiterates that this is a huge project undertaking for Blizzard, and that they have no idea how long it will take (or if they'll even manage since they haven't done it yet)
Which means they need to build a platform from scratch that is able to interface with BNET, they need to create and build server infastructure from scratch, not to mention going through all data and code to fix and plug all bugs present from that time period.
And according to Brack they haven't even begun the process of integrating this old client build with BNET.
This is a 'it'll be ready when it's ready' project on Blizzard's part. It's not something that'll get a massive amount of resources dedicated to it.

They have been working on the classic for 2 years, it's already complete. It can go live early as Christmas 2017 but most likely drops mid-late January 2018.

We all know how these predictions work. The majority here on MMO-Oracle forums also predicted Blizzard would not even think about adding Vanilla servers.
Oh, and Hillary would win by a landslide
Good joke,it's gonna be late 2019. They literally said that they are just starting to create it and they would not release it at the same time as retail expansion which is late 2018.
Sounds more like it is not coming before 2019. He wouldn't even comment if it takes months, or years o_o
