Why on Earth would anyone want Europe back in control of the world? Last time that happened, Europeans fucked over literally every other nation on the globe and many places have yet to recover from that. Whatever you want to say about American hegemony, we are far more benevolent overlords than Europeans ever were.

What? You ignoring CIA's doings in the last 70 years? Not saying anyone else would have done much better but "benevolent overlords" is really cynical.

Certainly not one that is domestically unstable. This is something that evades the comprehension of many Americans. Not saying all Americans, but many.
Your domestic actions reflect upon your foreign relationships and your international reputation. Trump's domestic actions causing the US' global reputation to nosedive. His personal one can barely get any worse anyway.
Nah, we were talking about agreements, then you decided to butt in. But if you want us to compare to China (lol) in internal politics then we already have more palatable policies and nothing Trump or the GOP do can sink us below that.

China being responsible for the deaths of tens of millions in the 20th century and the US responsible for saving tens of millions of lives as well as probably causing deaths in the hundreds of thousands at a high estimate, I'd say the US is at least a 1000-1 favorite.

The largest isn't the same as the best. Your current president is whining about how America can't win anymore. How the others making more mone yadda yadda...
In terms of best economy should we look at complexity? Japan is #1, but with less than 1/3rd of the US's GDP the US being 5th kind of puts the US in a better place..... what with having a GDP per capita roughly 20k higher.
    That's untrue..
While the US has the most top 50 universities of any country on the planet... They're a matter of affordability first, since education in the US is a business, a commercial issue more than anything it's rather an argument you don't want to make. Besides, when you expand the list to the top 500 universities the US' inferior education system becomes obvious. Because barley any of its hundreds of colleges shows up anymore on that ranking.
When talking about the best it's rather silly to qualify that by making affordability as important as quality of education and I'd be worried about the quality of education elsewhere if Bumfuck College in the US was one of the top 500 schools in the world
A better source than a top 10 article from Business Insider would be a ranking of scientific papers and their citations
Bollywood is bigger, and I believe Nollywood too, might be mistaken. Yet, pop culture isn't something of high importance for that matter anyway.
By what volume of movies made? Looking on Boxoffice mojo of the top 20 movies only one isn't made in the US and that one is from China.
Of the top 100 fewer than 20 are from outside the US.....

I'm not at all surprised to see certain names under the list of who voted for China.
Populists (and "national socialists") look at the supposedly secret deals that run the world "behind the scenes". Child's play. Except that childishness is sinister in adults.

Yeah we Europeans totally need "protection" from the evil Russians (which is part of Europe to start with) and the Chinese, cause they both want to take all of western Europe for their own and make us all slaves to work in the mines of fantasy.

Keep believing in your own US propaganda man. For that matter, if the Chinese would decide to retract the hundreds of billions of $ in loans to the US, you wouldn't even be able to support your toy army anymore, cause your country would be even more bankrupt than it is now.

so i have to pick between people who start shit for no reason (US) and people who don't give a shit about humanity (CN)?

    hard choice

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. I would rather have several "superpowers" in the world. Like 10 or so would be just nice. Around 5 is a bare minimum so that we do not start another arms race or Cold (Hot, Superhot "bye-bye Seoul" scenario) War.
But if I absolutely had to chose, I would pick something incredibly tiny and with a minuscule population. Like Vatican City (totally separate from Italy btw) or Monaco. That way their superpower can be more or less contained by the rest of the population.

You all will appreciate how things are today while you're breaking rocks in your "re-education" camp.
