2 part thread:
Firstly, We all saw what the community was able to do with the gamebryo engine, once the community learns the creation engine the sky is the limit. quite literally because if you want a mod that allows you to ride/turn into a dragon and fight other dragons while airborne, well then your in luck. So what do you want to see modded?
Personally, I want to see a large scale warfare mod, one of the major issues with oblivion was that the climax (battle of bruma) was weak. The entire game I was winning over people from all around cryodil and was expecting at least 100 soldiers if not 800 to help me out at bruma. I show up and its a ragtag team of about 10-20 guys who die extremely easily. Now imagine if instead you had shown up at a large field and on the far side an oblivion gate is opened thats the size of the dark portal in wow. Thousands of demons are on the far side waiting to tear you to shreds. You look down the hill to the left and you are welcomed by the site of 1000 soldiers to aid you. Imagine that mod in combination with mods that allow you to command an army, command archers, siege engines, dragons. Ride a dragon over this battlefield and reign fire on the enemys line of demons. The possibilities are endless but I dont know if the gamebryo engine could have handled this but hopefully skyrim will bring us this. So what do you want to see?
Secondly, I have zero experience modding any game ever. How difficult/extensive is it? is there coding involved? (i have experience coding) are there major risks involved? could i jeapordize the playability? I'm not talking about major things but rather just small cosmetic things, would i be able to learn it?
