I'm pushing my overclocking limit and in BIOS I set the bclk as 177. In CPU-Z it says my Bus Speed is 177.5. I look in BIOS again and bclk is set at 177. However, it says "target ram speed" is not a whole number- it has decimals. I'm not sure why this is happening. When I try doing 200 bclk and 20x multiplier for 4.0ghz, it will set my "target ram speed" as 1603 when it should be 1600. Anybody know why this is happening?
Also when I am doing prime test my temperatures would drop suddenly drastically (which usually in my experience meant it prime-test has failed). But in prime-test there are no errors, and instead I noticed my voltage and core speed dropping and then ramping back up to the overclocked ghz. I have everything disabled that would lower my core voltage/cpu speed in BIOS. Any answers why this happens?
