SPOILER! Highlight Hidden text at your own risk.

Right now it's a bitch trying to kill Lord Draahg on the level 50 story quest, even with Quinn, the fact this guy has damage reduction, immunity to control effects (Force Choke) and still hits like a truck even with damage dealt decreased, makes it so impossible to complete right now, they need to nerf it because honestly I don't think I'll be able to get it done until I get 50 flashpoint/operation gear.

You might want to reread the post, he said to avoid the bleed spec.

It didn't really make things that much more difficult. The extra DPS made most of the quests go insanely fast. Some of the strong/elite groups were interesting, but I wanted the challenge. And boss fights just required a cooldown rotation. I got to 50 in about 4.5 days of play time, with some long pauses on the fleet answering questions in guild chat since I must've been the only beta player in my guild.

Took me two tries with a DPS companion because I was stupid and didn't notice the lingering AoE from the Smash... just a kiting fight really.

For that quest it really wasn't that hard to do, interrupt his choke as it'll choke your companion. Obfuscate him, Choke him, pop undying rage/saber ward/predation(kite him for abit) and you really shouldn't have any issue. If you beat him then your final enemy is a joke because he's alot weaker and only has one phase.

If all else fails ask someone your level to help you.

Hm.. For the 50 story quest, I was thinking of using Jaesa for my dps companion, good choice or bad?

I dunno what level you are, but i'm 42 and using bleed spec... But i'm starting to notice my damage is a bit low and my companion can heal my just fine (the extra 2% heal from bleed crits are alright, but tbh... if you do way more damage, then you won't notice the difference)

I'm just waiting on the servers to come back up to try a new spec that has been recommended in this thread. I hate how BioWare decides to do maintenance till 4pm >.>

Annihilation (Bleed Spec) is a great spec for raids or Pve since it also self heals you thru crits and dps.

Carnage (Burst/Stun Spec) is the best PvP Spec. I always had Rage and Healers could only dream of healing through the carnage I leave behind. Any player who dares go 1 V 1 against a Carange Specced warrior is dead.

I found at lvl 50 Annihilation DOES NOT have enough Burst to burst down healers. They can usually heal through it, especially if they have a person healing them as well. I also found myself lacking Rage a lot more with this spec. With Caranage I always had a large pool of Rage.

For Pve both specs work nice, but again I prefer Carnage again due to the burst and the extra stun provided by Ravage if you spec into it. The extra healing provided by annihilation doesn't make up for the slower dps. When you get Massacre they annihilation spec will seem like your hitting in slow motion compared to Carnage.

And yes... Marauders... face it. We are Glass Cannons. I had no problems lvl'ing to lvl 50, but after lvl 48 facing mobs the same lvl as you gets difficult. Quinn can't keep your health up as easy since you take alot of dmg. Facing enemies higher lvl than may be a cake walk for a BH or a SI, but for you it means death or one hard fight. As stated above, gear Quinn will help alot and will increase your surviability, but also don't forget to turn off all the attack skills of Quinn so he will focus on healing only.

I suppose I should have put up an ability rotation per say aswell. Thing is Carnage doesn't really have a rotation.

Battering Assault and Assault which provide rage which are fine. Massacre which replaces Vicious Slash this ability is spammed but is your lowest priority. Gore which is 100% Armor Penetration your best use of this is with Ravage the abilities tie up perfectly cooldown wise also, Gore is 15 seconds, Ravage is 30. Force Scream which you don't use unless you have a blood frenzy proc. This gives it 100% chance to crit and is your hardest hitting ability. You will always have a blood frenzy proc once you reach 40 because Massacre gives you a free ataru form strike which procs blood frenzy.

Berserk and Bloodthirst for Fury uses, in groups save Bloodthirst for bosses as soon as you pop Bloodthirst pop Frenzy this gives you an instant 30 Fury which you then pop Berserk afterwards and this will give you free massacres with +15% damage. Combine this with a trinket use and your laughing your way to 3-4k crits. When you need to give your group a movement speed boost pop Predation.

Cooldown use is pretty obvious if your in the thick of it pop Undying Rage and then a Medpack instantly after this offsets the 50% Current Health cost, Saber Ward is your backup if Undying Rage is on cooldown, keep up Cloak of Pain at all times. Obfuscate only works on normal hits mostly so don't use it when the enemy is casting a spell as the spell is more than likely to hit though your obviously going to interrupt that spell aren't you?

Once you get Vicious Throw you know you need to use it every cooldown. If you can even time it right you get a Gore Vicious Throw which is nasty!

Force Camoflague works differently in PvE and PvP in PvE it resets your threat completely. In PvP it puts you into stealth for the duration which is a huge lifesaver.

Wasn't Heavy Armor for Marauders aswell up until late in the beta when they decided to take it from us? I'm starting to think that was a bad idea for them.

    Rotations?

What rotations do you fancy for PVE and PVP based on this carnage spec?
