...and when I come back I am re-rolling to a server that has more than 6 people per planet and 50 people in fleet during peak hours. Just as I'm sure those bothering to already re-roll are coming to Fatman, Swiftsure, Harbinger, and the few other highly populated servers.
Also, what company are you talking about and what bandaid fix? Do you mean Rift or WoW or....??? Sorry for the ignorance, but me currently not playing TOR means me currently being MMO-less.
I for one am very disappointed. I was really looking forward to being lv 50 so I can PvP with the big boys, to do FPs and raids. But when I got there, I see that the pvp is Crap, we have 30-40 mins queues and the outcome is:
- the match ends prematurely because of lack of players => 5-6 commendations
- the opposing team has a majority of over-geared ppl that are impossible to kill, so we must take it until the end... => 20-30 commendations
The pve is similar, after 8-9PM when one should expect others will come to play, I can Barely find a group for the daily Hard Black Talon. And I`m healer!
I will not yet quit ! there is still hope...

No hyperbole needed. The cross server dungeon finder was implemented to address the issue that people couldn't get groups for dungeons. This was for a number of reasons including LOW SERVER POPULATIONS. The fix for that problem should be server consolidation. No such fix was forthcoming.

I'm also on Naddist Rebels which is usually standard. I manage to get alot of stuff done.
I am failing to realize how this is any different than the situation on the WoW forums, or maybe even Rift right now.
I really do not understand your point in the least. Your vendetta should not be against SWTOR, but how MMO's in general are poor quality, and still sucking in money. Or maybe even how the communities are nothing but complaining masses, or sycophantic droves, that rarely ever offer true criticism anymore.

Last I checked, there were only free migration from HIGH server pop to LOW server pop, not the other way around.
That would be nice if they did that anyway.
Though I still think we should get free transfers with a cooldown in MMOs.
I didn't really like paying for 3 characters transfers in WoW just because I made the mistake to roll on a pvp server back in Vanilla (was new to MMOs at that time, so didn't really understand what world pvp griefing was about)
I think your line of thinking is flawed, LFG is not a band aid fix. The natural progression of game over time means less and less people have a need or desire to do instances/flash points and the pool of players wanting to do them on single server will dry up or diminish. Over time it will require more and more endless spamming of a chat channel to fill your group and when you finally do fill your party better hope to hell no one drops out or you're back at square one and most likely will end up with a group that will disband. Obviously guild groups don't suffer this fate as much but outright PUGs which is a huge chunk of players require this tool to PVE.
A LFG at launch is not as critical but quote me or bookmark this as time goes on TOR will HAVE to put one in or more players will cancel their subs and continue a decline of the available pool of players to pick from. Like it or not it's just a basic fundamental aspect of an MMO. FYI even a server/realm only LFG will not suffice it changes nothing to the pool of players who want to run flashpoints on your server. Your arguments of community going to the crappers will fall on deaf ears when it actually comes to sub retention.

i think they are lying about the subs, my whole guild has quit 34 ppl, all the servers i see that was full with wait times are now standard/light only a few full, almost every1 i know has quit and many more ppl have unsubbed, i dunno how pve side is but the pvp side is a complete joke so many things broken , worst customer service i have ever seen on any mmo and devs unable to fix anything it seems only have to look on the swtor forums to see whats happning.

Update:
It is difficult. It's actually impossible on some encounters.
New mechanic seems to be bugs! lolol

I have to agree with this one.
If anyone came out and said that the overall playing population has remained fairly constant or increased in the past fortnight/month I'd question their intelligence.
I'd even go so far as to re-classify SWTOR to an MORPG. It just doesn't feel like there are many people playing at the moment. This might have a lot to do with the 'theme-park' style of SWTOR though.
I'm considering rolling on Swiftsure just to see if it's as populated as people make it out to be. WotS is at HEAVY during peak times but still feels half empty.
