Hmm seems skylake may still use the same size cpu cooling slots as the current 1150/1155 motherboards according to

    http://www.tomshardware.com/news/bio...set,29162.html

I hope this is true, means can reuse current CPU coolers as some do no provide updated brackets or make you cough up extra for them especially if the current coolers are good.

As did 1156. Probably a conscious thought.

Yeah, we just have to phone them up, and they'll send us a new mounting bracket

No, you can be served alcohol by others, both at home and at pups/restaurants at age 18. You can also buy alcoholic beverages up to 3,5% by yourself.

You can buy any alcohol yourself at age 20 on Systembolaget.

You can buy alcoholic beverages from 15.
You can also share with people younger than allowed purchasing age.

Riksdagen seems to disagree though. Sorry for the Swedish.
    https://www.riksdagen.se/sv/Dokument...-2010-1622/#K3
"7 § Alkoholdrycker får inte säljas eller annars lämnas ut till den som inte har fyllt 20 år. Beträffande folköl gäller motsvarande den som inte har fyllt 18 år.
Servering av alkoholdrycker får ske till den som har fyllt 18 år."

And yes, you can share small amounts with minors, under supervision, and also provided that it is done in a responsible way.

At work we have this concept called a "care package". It's when the CEO (whom knows how to write code pretty well, but isn't really a professional developer) makes a change and commits it directly to master without going through the normal process we have that keeps us safe.

The number is the issue on github with details about the commits that need to be investigated. There's nothing worse than getting assigned an un-scoped pull request from somebody who you can't insult with an email message:

Best of all, it was made after our Thursday freeze so there's a chance I'll be on the hook if something breaks this weekend. I really need to switch to the mobile team: I'm 99% sure he doesn't know anything about Objective C or Swift.
Wow. Looks like you got alcohol with that?

We have a beer fridge that gets stocked up every couple of days but the liquor cabinet is often bare because there are only a few of us who use it. Bourbon, scotch, and brandy are usually there but the rest is usually only bought "as needed".

Gin and tonic is my favourite summer drink.
I was thinking that the Alcohol was the 'care package' to help you do the hard work.

    Shiny.

All the speculation for the pricing of R9 3xx / Fiji / 980Ti / whatever is amusing.

The people talking about panic reactions from AMD, while nVidia is the one that dropped the Titan X price by 30% overnight (when they renamed it the 780ti and lasered off a shader unit).

    980 Ti, surely.
Although to be fair, they released it just to be assholes. AMD is forced to lower their MSRP on the Fear/Rage/whatever Fiji is called.
They wanted to position the card as a less pricey alternative to the 999 Titan X. Now they are forced to drop the price even further to the 650 980 Ti competition.

But yeah. I'm not touching that thread again.
So much misinformation and blind nVidia glorifying.

    So...

A GTX 980 Ti wouldn't be a bad purchase for me coming from a 760, eh? Considering I've got a 3440x1440 monitor and the rest of my specs (see sig)...

Minecraft at this resolution even causes my 760 to struggle. -.-

I'd personally wait and see how the AMD's line up, that's cause I prefer seeing everything as opposed to one side before making any decision.
Apparently the die size, for the Fiji that is, for once, as big / bigger than NVidia's die size for the GPU. Which really makes it a wildcard along with HBM.

    - - - Updated - - -

Did my own estimation with known HBM dimension size, and yeah I'm getting 24x28mm here too with a different picture. http://www.4gamer.net/games/302/G030238/20150603004/
The only time that Photoshop's mm measurement was useful. Took the dimension of the image's HBM size, scaled the entirety to the relative size of the HBM then just select the die itself.
