Okay, so I want an opinion on a set, I love our newest Tier, but I hate that all of its chests are dresses, so trying some stuff out, does this fit?
I know boots aren't 100%, but I only use Chunky boots.

went with a simple Wotlk leather set from naxx (incl staff)

my vision of a monk is simple clothing, yet somehow it has brutal elements (spikey shoulders)

need a better tabard tho

That does...sort of match.

Eh, I'll just go no cape. One of these days I'll learn how to tank without just vaguely bumbling my way through a raid and then I can wear my tank cloak, that matches the set.

I did it as well. Did a few changes with the tabard and staff, though. And the Cursed Vision because I hated the set helmet and I couldn't find anything more suitable.
However, I did find a pretty decent cloak (Mantle of Fury) for this set.

Cursed vision is by FAR the single most used leather transmog helmet for Monks, Druids and Rogues.

Run Blacktemple every week (those glaives are legendary you can't transmog them)
