Match 13 features Magneto



Magneto is the central villain in the X-Men series. He has the power to manipulate the Earth's electromagnetic fields. This allows him control over magnetism and the manipulation of metal. He can affect a very large quantity of metal at one time. For example, he has levitated objects as heavy as a 30,000 ton nuclear submarine and has used his power to move large asteroids several times. Magneto frequently uses his power to project of force-fields which selectively block out matter and energy. These fields are strong enough to withstand the detonation of multiple thermonuclear weapons; hence Magneto is invulnerable to most harm when surrounded by his shield and can survive in deep space thanks to it. He can also channel his power into himself to increase his strength, durability, and sense. He also has a strong resistance to psychic attacks for unknown reasons.

Versus Magikarp



Magikarp is a water-type pokemon. It is extremely abundant and lives in any type of water and region. Some are able to utilize their immense splashing power to leap high enough to jump mountains, and survive in the most polluted waters. Its main attack is Splash, but it also uses Tackle, Flail, and Bounce. It also has a special ability called Swift Swim, which increases its speed when it is raining.

Magikarp hands down, Magneto won't even be able to do anything. Not to mention Magikarp can destroy planets with ease.

I don't even think evolving to Gyarados would help much. I'd do a write-up, but it'd literally be "Magneto impales fish/seals fish in metal box/punches fish to death, possibly decides to eat fish if he is into that." There, done.

Magikarp is not metallic, which leaves Magneto as nothing more than a feeble old man. He can be found in the wild at level 100 and his thrashes are quite powerful.

A fairly high level Magikarp can easily survive being impaled/being brutally beaten/being eaten/whatever. If it's bad enough, he'll just faint. We have absolutely no idea what it would take to kill a Magikarp.

This is why I disregard what is essentially functional immortality (which Pokemon basically have in game.) Basing a fight solely on who dies first is retarded when half these characters have ways of instantly disabling their opponent permanently.

There is no way Magikarp could ever beat Magneto under any plausible situation with what is known of both characters. For as much as I like Pokemon, I find it that even remotely considering Magikarp capable of defending itself is quite silly, if not downright ridiculous.
