Played them all. I have to say Oblivion. I really like Skyrim and Morrowind a lot too. The first 4 were great too, I say four because Battlespire and Redguard didn't have numbers.

Gonna have to say Skyrim. Daggerfall was very special in it's time as well, but that is probably more nostalgia then anything else.

Out of the three recent (Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim), Skyrim is the best, no doubt about it, in my opinion.

i have only played morrowind, oblivion, and skyrim, and of them all, morrowind was the best. i have been playing that game for the past ten years, still haven't stopped. i played oblivion for about three years, and put down skyrim after about two months.

Played Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. I couldn't get past the first 10 minutes of Morrowind, completed Oblivion entirely over the course of a month (of on/off play), and couldn't stop playing Skyrim until I did every main questline (the guilds, main quest, etc.).

Have to give it to Skyrim on this one. Tons of fun.

Daggerfall used to terrify me because I was about 13 or so when it came out. Those skeletons would just sneak up on you in the dungeons and those god damned rats you could never hit properly the first time.

I had the most fun just killing guards and taking their gear(thanks for teaching me this Ultima 7 Serpents Isle). And there was virtual boobs in the Inn, quite impressive in 1996. I'm sure now the game is just awful though.

Morrowind was very good for the time as well, Oblivion is the last one I played and did not overly care for it.

I wish I could make myself play Oblivion or Morrowind, but the graphics and stuff is too outdated for me. Yes, I know there is giant overhauls of Morrowind, but eeeh.

I can keep going back to Skyrim. Oblivion was good times, but Skyrim is just so visually beautiful.

Morrowwind was awesome, it was my first ES game, and it was so huge. I didn't really do that much in it though. I mostly burgled houses and collected expensive weapons/armor to sell to a magic crab.

oblivion had great spell making systems so I would up doing a illusion based mage. Invisibility/chameleon, telekinesis, and paralyze were my most used spells. I had spells that stunned enemies and did DoT to them for the duration. With spell stacking weakness to magic/shock spells I could kill anything with ease.

Skyrim is my favorite though. The final blow cuts were awesome, especially as a dual wielding cloak/dagger assassin. I really didn't steal as much as I did in the other two games, and made my fortune hunting vampires and bandits (who somehow managed to get Daedric weapons while being poor/weak). My favorite feature was the weapon sound system. using the bow to lure enemies into the shadows where I would finis them with sneak dagger (x30) attacks was fun. The sneak tree had so many awesome perks besides assasin's blade too, the forward roll and shadow warrior perks were awesome.

I've only played Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skrim. I enjoyed Skyrim the most because I found its world the most interesting and beautiful. Morrowind and Oblivion looked nice, but neither of them really captured my attention as much as the high snowy peaks and large chasms in skyrim. Because I was so excited to explore the environment, I found myself returning to skyrim much more than oblivion or morrowind.

Out of nostalgia, I'm going to have to say Morrowind was my favorite. It was my first Elder Scrolls game on the original Xbox and it was so immersive. One of my buddies and I would stay up and play that game for hours, just running from town to town or sneaking around shops to lift some expensive items.

And I will admit, the Soul Trap glitch for spells was a pretty fun exploit. Hahaha.

Morrowind, since he at least had fun playing in it. Oblivion and Skyrim were so bad.

I loved Morrowind the most, but only when it was new. I can't really get in to it now, with the crappy graphics and weak gameplay. The Elder Scrolls hasn't ever had very strong combat, but it's improved enough since Morrowind that it's hard to go back to it. Great atmosphere and environments though, with proper danger. Oblivion had a great atmosphere too, but with the level scaling it just wasn't the same. I liked being SCARED when I went in to caves, knowing that I could die.

Still love Morrowind, love it the most. Though really, this isn't even fair to Skyrim. Its first expansion just came out, and I haven't even played it yet. I am judging original Skyrim vs double expansion Morrowind. For me though, everything about Morrowind screams replay value. The power cap for Morrowind is way way higher. With no max level, spell creation, and enchanting being able to achieve some crazy effects you can become ridiculously powerful.

In Skyrim this is true too, but becoming that powerful is a lot easier and faster. Morrowind actually felt like there was a bit of a gear hunt due to how powerful artifacts were. Loved that. In Skyrim, I use all Daedric gear. In Morrowind, I use Daedric pauldrons and greaves, Ebony Mail, Helm of Oreyn Bear Claw, Fists of Randagulf, Boots of the Apostle, Eleidon's Ward and Trueflame. Much more interesting than slapping on Daedric imo.

And the best part is, Morrowind actually has challenges for OP as fuck characters. Even with a passive 220 strength, level 400 and artifacts coming out everywhere some enemies are still no joke! Hands of Almalexia for example. Those guys hit hard, and they have the HP to back it up. Skyrim has nothing like that. I can one shot every enemy in the game with my Daedric Longsword. I'm armor capped, magic resist capped, I have tons of health regen, max level, etc. Even on Master difficulty the strongest enemies in the game do nothing to me, and only last a few seconds.
