You are a Genius but lazy.

Anyone else like this. I have amazing ideas but I just can't be bothered to implement them. I get a kick out of seeing my ideas show up on commercials and websites and knowing I already had that idea but was just lazy as hell.

I have no drive to be rich I guess

Being intelligent is far from being a genius, I do not think you understand what a genius really is.

It's been my experience that most people who think they're geniuses, or even intelligent, usually aren't. Doesn't matter whether they're lazy or not, really.

Genius probably doesn't need capitalized, and questions usually end in question marks.

I'd bet anything that you're not a genius by any common definition of the word.

IQ of 172. Extremely lazy. I'm actually too lazy to give a more detailed explanation as to why I'm so lazy. I could provide proof for the 172 IQ if needed, but nah... Too lazy.

I am like you OP, got some ideas but I haven't done anything.
Got really nice suggestions about stuff but I can't change things alone, time to write a email to someone who can... :<

Lots of people have great ideas. Geniuses implement great ideas. Execution makes all the difference.

There was a scientific study about people who were complimented for being "smart" as young being lazier than those who were complimented as "hard working".

I can verify this. One nice idea would be too remove that hideous avatar, but you haven't done so yet. There, verified.

A lazy genius does not do nothing. They invent things so that they can be more lazy. And since you don't actually do that, than you are not a "genius."

I do also have a lot of ideas, i'm intelligent but i am far from a genius tbh. I'm going to learn robotics this fall, after that maybe i can call myself a genius if i actually do something.

You should research the Dunning–Kruger effect.

Stupid people are more likely to overestimate their own ability.

That's the problem with the world nowadays, man. It's filled with self-proclaimed geniuses who don't know any better. It's when you surround yourself with intelligent people, educate yourself and make it your goal to become better tomorrow than you are today that you realize how, shall we say, limited you really are at present. It's just something you cannot judge for yourself.

I bet homeless people say the same thing. Its just an excuse. Do something with your supposed genius or it simply doesn't matter.

you're only a genius if history says so. otherwise you're just a random, smart motherfucker no. 9802938120938103. welcome to the club.

Being a genius is about implementing an idea, not just going hurrdurr wouldn't it be cool to have a toaster inside cars.

You being a genius is pretty irrelevant, if you're not doing anything with it.

    I feel your pain.

I am in the same boat, have a 151 IQ, pass the mensa tests with ease, maybe 1 incorrect answer (if either of those translated into money I'd be all set).

I did homework maybe 10 times in four years of high school, aced tests and graduated with a 3.1 gpa. I tested out of the first 1 1/2 years of college, tried to go sit in classrooms to finish even a two year degree and was bored to the point that it pained me to go.

The problem is I have no ambition. Like you I have no drive, yet I am very creative.

Currently upper management in the construction industry, it's physical work, but I love it, I've tried sitting in an office, it just doesn't fit me.

Sometimes I wonder, if god has a plan for everyone, how bad am I screwed in the afterlife for not making use of my 'gifts' (being a doctor and curing disease or something).
Apply blizzards model to any other subscription service, you'd be outraged:
Netflix adds no new movies for a year, you click a new movie, there's a $5 fee.
You're in an accident, click your onstar button, but there's an addition $20 fee for them to help.
You turn on your tv only to find all you get are the infomercial channels. Every other show is pay per view.
See how dumb that model is?
