Umm...heyo. If this is the type of random content they are adding to the game, they can have my wallet now. Just this style of teaser is so awesome.
I'm usually torn over "events." They've never really appealed to me in any MMORPG. They are nice and all but... meh?
Sir Robin, the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot.
Who had nearly fought the Dragon of Angnor.
Who had almost stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol.
And who had personally wet himself, at the Battle of Badon Hill.
Yeah, but it's been a pretty successful feature that most MMOs have. Whether it's holiday stuff or random world events, I know that Wow, LotRO, Rift, TERA, SWTOR, and others have all utilized them. They obviously have a pretty good reception to continue these things.
To each their own though. You run away from everything, I wouldn't expect you to enjoy any of it.
Way too little way too late.
Warning: Please post constructively or not at all.

So this is only another tease, like the writer's tweet? Not nice Bioware....
Fucking. Awesome.
Also, nice to see YouTube comments continuing the tradition of being universally unbearable.
^ The above should be taken with two grains of salt and a fistful of "chill the F* out".

Hopefully this doesn't equate to Oct. 31 we get a content patch But I guessing Septemberish.
If you have a problem or question about moderation in forums either PM a mod or Sunshine with a link or links to examples of the issue you want to discuss. Derailing threads isn't a good or constructive option.
Sigh. The game IP has so much potential and these events are the right direction ... fingers crossed.
My part in this story has been decided. And I will play it well.
More of these world events are definitely needed. It makes the world/s less stale.
I think that is one of the reasons people like events so much. Whether you want to argue that SWTOR isn't immersive enough on the planets, which many people will disagree on, the Fleet and other communal areas have a huge potential to immerse you as the player in the world around you.
Events like this help make things come alive. In as many of them that have it, it still doesn't happen enough in MMOs to be honest.
I really liked the new bulletins in the last one. That alone made it more immersive to me. Though it did have the downside of some people didn't realize what was going on and stayed away form Tatooine.
