1. Your performance of 25FPS with pixel shaders disabled is well below what people consider playable.
2. Your processor is stronger than hers. They're using a Core 2 Duo from 6 years ago. Yours is from 2010~.

@OP - You need to buy or build her a new computer altogether.

it isn't disabled its running on low there is only 3 choice's for it Low/Mid/High in guild wars 2.

i get 20-25fps running on mid/high but if i run low i get 25-30 even tho there is a 5fps difference i just perfer it for when i run things like WvWvW. also all he asked for is if he could get a video card cheap so his gf could run GW2 with 25-30fps and i answered it. also i got a couple of settings on max like detail.

with his current rig he can get a video card and run it decent and be able to quest and all just fine not on max but playable and with a tie budget *if it is for him* spending 30-40$ for a video card may be the only choice.

On Topic: as i said a few times already yes u can get a video card for 30-40$ like the 6450 i got and run GW2 just fine on low to mid settings with 20-30fps *maybe around 25 if u turn a few settings off*.

PS: even on the most low settings i gotta say guild wars 2 looks awesome.

make sure she has a PCI Express 2.0 slot for it and her power supply is 400watts.

The 6450 isn't worth the $30-40. If anything, spend a little more and get the 6670 ($70), 6770 ($90), or 7770 ($120).

if he has the 70$-90$ to spare then ya go for one of those but if not the 6450 works just fine *for me*

me personally tho if i was running that rig and had to spend more then 50$ i would just save up for a new one. thats why i said just get a 30-40$ card
