best 1v1 class in MOP?

Interesting choice putting monk with the fotm when the word on the street says they're pretty average and the only reason they are "fotm" is because they're new.

If you yourself don't know then any class won't be the best.

The best class will be the person behind the screen, an depending on what CD's the person has up when you are ganking them.

I would agree with a lot of the above posters, but in all, it's going to determine who your going against, if they have pvp gear on when you are ganking them, and how good they are.

This is 1v1 duels, and I only count duels against DPS classes, duels vs healers are dumb and will be a stalemate / healer should win unless they are really bad.

Only well played hunters have the advantage, badly played hunters will not do well even against other badly played classes. Only hunters that knew how to max range kite melee, switch pets for more ROS while in detterances along with a good knowlege of other classes. MM hunters in 4.3 couldn't do a shit against healers, no matter how skilled they were, so they were not the best 1v1 class in 4.3. Rogues were definitely the best in 1v1 in 4.3 as they had no problems against any dps and could even kill shit healers.

Of course player skill matters, but we assume that we are talking about equal gear and equal skill. It makes no sense to discuss this without these assumptions.

Lol I loved play Destro in the beta in World Pvp ganking. Fly down open with a Immolate > Shadow Fury > then LOL at a massive Chaos Bolt > MC > then Conflags with Incinerates spams if some how they arent dead.

If you get smart you could build up more embers and cast multiple Chaos Bolts.

Frost mage without rival, without anyone in sight. Frost mages are as strong as ever in MoP - they have no counter-class, can kite anyone, cc anyone if the fight stops going to their advantage and reset, and have more damage than they did even in cataclysm.

Excellent, I will now roll an enhancement shaman for pvp. I'm gonna be so awesome. Jk, shamans suck no matter how skilled the player is.

OR you can roll a mage and only have one bane while facerolling everything in sight, 10 minutes after hitting max level.

im gonna have to disagree with you there :| shamans ARE subpar to other classes but if you are good you can wreck just about anyone :\ did it all the time on my enhancement shaman

BM hunters are great right now, but SPs and mages are superior if we're talking about sustained damage, pressure and survivability. A BM hunter only makes things happen every 1 min.

As for your comment about 4.3 - just no, you're most likely on a very low caliber fighting level. What bracket(s) have you been playing at? Did you know that they are one of the least desired classes in RBGs, and are only viable in 3's, as well as 2's as double DPS only?

Rogues. Their class is designed specifically to be able to take down any other class on a 1v1 so long as the rogue can play skillfully.

Rogues got left behind a bit on the MoP buff. I can beat them consistently on my Arms Warrior. I'd say Mages are the number one and BM Hunters are close behind.

Maybe with better gear down the road, the Warrior can be up there too since they scale better than most classes with gear.

Rogues are not nearly as op in mop as they were in cata since they were left overall where they were while other classes were all buffed in what they lacked. They best classes 1v1 imo is mage, bm hunt, spriest, boomy, ret. Monk no one can be sure of yet simply because they're totally new. Warrior/sham/lock/rogue/dk are all pretty lacking in some aspects of 1v1 currently.
