I mean console games that are released, and then the developers are like "so, how can we fuck over our consumers even more than we already are?"

Because if they are motivated by games like Lord of the Rings Online or Team Fortress 2, then my sympathy and proverbial "give-a-shit" goes away completely.

Well all of the TF2 items you can buy using items that you've collected yourself so you technically don't have to pay for anything to get a certain item "exceptions are Stamps (none of that money goes to VALVe) and the Mann Co Store Hat".

Also about DLCs errr, I also play PS3 as well as my laptop (and have done like since forever). However I generally don't mind DLCs as long as they arn't on the disc. Although I'd much rather DLCs be something cosmetic rather than an addition like maps or new weapons etc.

Only DLC's I've bought are halo 3 maps really.. I regret buying binding of isaac DLC because there is no toggle option which is mentally retarded. Then again it was like 60 cents.

You could consider WoW expansions DLC also.

Well, it is a decade old program that Valve pumps every ounce of juice out of because they won't make a Source2 Engine (because I know they can count that high).
