In the same comic that Deathstroke stabs the Flash Arrow gets one panelled then they manage to subdue Slade.

How exactly does flash get stabbed? It makes no sense to me at all, everything would be extremely slow to him when he's running super fast. He would be able to see the blade, then run into it, and keep running into it until it's impaled him. From our PoV it happens in an instant, to him it would have been a lot slower.

There's also that the comics use th 10% - 90% brain myth so theoretically Slade thinks 9 times faster than the others.

Slade triggered the explosions as soon as the fight started, luring Wally to run around them into the only spot he could attack slade from, behind. And that's where he sent his sword, knowing Wally will go there.

By the time Wally realised it was a trap, he was impaled.

Let's face it, the only reason Oliver beat Deathstroke and (potentially) Ra's is because his name is the title of the show. Easy way to show how BADASS Deathstroke really is? Look at the second panel. The sword is in front of Deathstroke and the Flash is close to him, so obviously he moved the sword very fast to get it in that position, so the Flash probably didn't notice. Also, he probably wasn't expecting it either so he wasn't on guard.

He probably didn't notice. As far as I know Wally's thinking isn't also accelerated so going by the comic myth Slade still thinks 9 times faster.

Green Arrow is the one narrating ( hence the green boxes ) and he says Slade was a dozen moves ahead of them.

They -could- have him kill Ra's thus freeing Oliver from having to be the heir. Maybe Argus wants Ra's dead and they free Slade if he kills him. If there's someone that can kill Ra's it's Deathstroke. It would also probably be the best fight in the show since they are both sword specialists.

Unless he gets his Mirakuru back, or something similar, I can't see them doing that. There's no way they'd have Ra's take out both Oliver and Thea, then get taken out by a guy that both Oliver and Thea have taken out, it would make no sense.

Now if ARGUS/HIVE were to pump him full of super syrum (Maybe a perfected version of the Mirakuru, one that makes you super strong and all that good stuff, but DOESN'T drive you insane, it actually does what the stuff Deathstroke in the comics took did and makes you think faster and clearer, so that he would no longer be mad at Oliver.) then send him to kill Ra's... That could work and would be SUPER AWESOME. Because as you said, that would probably be the greatest fight EVER in the show and pretty high on the list of greatest fights ever on TV...

Damnit now I'm far more excited about Deathstroke Vs Ra's than the inevitable rematch between Oliver and Ra's.

It would solve all issues, it's really a good scapegoat.

Oliver isn't going to beat Ra's and should not be able to ( the only reason he won against Slade was that slade had been used to Mirakuru for 5 years and his technique deteriorated + he was just cured ) so they should give that honor for Slade. That would solve a lot of issues:

- Oliver being in the League.
- Deathstroke being freed by Argus in exchange for killing Ra's.
- Ra's gets taken down by a proper character in an awesome fight instead of dying to some crappy scheme.
- We get the best fight on the show from two of the best actors ( my top 3 is Slade, Merlyn and Ra's, I think they are all perfect for their role )
- Deathstroke finally gets some justice compared to the joke he's become and can become a special guest/recurring character when various people hire him to blow up other people.

There's no way they'd have Ra's take out both Oliver and Thea, then get taken out by a guy that both Oliver and Thea have taken out, it would make no sense.

next episode will tease the justice something, if its just an easter egg meant to mean nothing then its probably teasing the justice league, if its something they actually plan on using its probably a teaser for the spin off show which has been highly rumoured to be the tv version of the justice league/justice society i really doubt they can use the name justice league because of the movies.

also jay jackson isnt listed as a superhero, so we still dont know who the third mystery hero is.

True he might have Taken out Oliver and Thea, if she didn't pull out a gun... But still without Mirakuru this version of Deathstroke is no match for Ra's. I'd love to have a fight between these two titans, but it would need to be both of them at their peak or this whole season will feel like a massive anticlimax. There's no way they'd spend the whole season going on and on about how dangerous Ra's is only to have him get taken out by a depowered version of last season big bad. It makes no sense and makes this whole season look weak...

I think they just included that line so that IF they want to kill him off, they can totally write him out. He's still just as physically strong as ever (just ask Thea ).

As for pulling out a gun... Ra's doesn't USE guns, but I'm sure he's aware of what they are and probably has taken some precautions against them...

Man that would be fucking hilarious, if in the big final fight it looks like Ra's is going to kill Oliver again, so Diggle just pulls his trusty 9mm out and puts a bullet in the back of Ra's head "I should have done that a year ago..."
