You saw how I look. I'm not very healthy right now anyways. And I have a purpose for my actions. It mostly has to do with resetting my sleep schedule. Glad I can actually do it this time.

I liked it for what it was. A Friendship is Magic retelling of an ancient, cliche, and HORRIBLY dull story.

However, they told it far better than any other source has ever done before them.

Not really, that's typically how the "life debt" scenario works. Save a person's life, they pledge their servitude, their service is terrible (which is strange considering Spike is a good servant when it's with Twilight), the savior tries to get out of the deal, savior's life is saved. MLP isn't the first cartoon to have it, and it certainly won't be the last.

I dunno. When you're given the old "Someone's life is saved and they wanna pay the other person back until they eventually save their rescuer" cliche to work with... there's REALLY not a lot you can do.
