What if your parents had decided to abort you?
I've always been a defender of the process.I found it almost natural.Thinking ''Nothing gets killed. It's just a process that is stopped.''
But lately I asked myself.''What if I had been aborted?Who would I be?''
If your parents had aborted you, your life would be nothing. You wouldn't have been who you are.You would have never existed.
It's not like you would be the next kid that your parents didn't abort. That is not your life, not your body, not you.
This made me change my mind.
During abortion,it is true that no human is getting killed. But an actual future is denied,a possible life is denied.
Is it excusable because during the abortion there's no human yet?
I think about the countless lives that have been 'aborted',who could those people have been.Who should they have been?
I think abortion is actually wrong now.A life is taken...painlessly,unconsciously but it's still taken.
Society is irresponsible.
People should take pregnancy way more seriously.Same with their sexual behavior. They should watch out, always use a condom/pill if pregnancy is not desired.
Once the process of life has started,by that when a women is pregnant.Even if it's only been a day, there's an actual human life on the line.
And that life should deserve respect.Whether the pregnancy is an accident or due to rape.
I do acknowledge it has to be hateful for a women to go through the entire process of pregnancy/giving birth if she doesn't even want the child or she has been raped. But is that a free pass to deny a life?My life?Your life?Would that have been reason enough for you to not exist?
People value their own life so much. With empathy you can understand why it's wrong.
That's where the government needs to step in.We would need the government to help the women out who are pregnant and don't want to keep the child. Those women should be forced by law to give birth, but through the pregnancy be supported and refunded for their investment. So that a life can be saved. The child would then be adopted.
Isn't that the right way?
