    Sir Robin, the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot.
Who had nearly fought the Dragon of Angnor.
Who had almost stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol.
And who had personally wet himself, at the Battle of Badon Hill.

For a game I did not complete (only did the first part - stopped when I crossed to Mexico) I am actually excited about this. I should pick it up again and finish it.
    I'm still thinking about it...

I'm stuck at 99.5% lol. And finding that last .5 is a bitch.

God, I pray they don't bring back John's son... He almost ruined the game after the main story for me... Ugh, his VA was so terrible.

I kind of want it to be a prequel, like before John left his gang to start a family. Seeing as the first one was right on the edge of technology on the verge, it might ruin the western feel if you're highjacking automobiles.

I don't recall how far through the game I got. About half way maybe? Loved the game but just couldn't stand the controls.

I actually would like a direct sequel with Jack and maybe even visiting cities of the early 1900s, even if that would take away some of the western feel of it. A prequel with John though would also be pretty awesome as well.

I really hope Nigel West Dickens is somewhere in the sequel.

I must be the only person in the world who found Red Dead Redemption boring. Maybe it's just the setting, I never liked western anything.

But I look forward to see how the next one turns out.

1.) That article is dated January.

2.) Nowhere in the release from Rockstar does it say "confirmed". The article itself even uses the ambiguous "is most likely" and "will probably".

Please don't market conjecture as confirmation.

"Stay tuned for future announcements of the Red Dead Series" isn't something you would say unless there were going to be future announcements, and what would those announcements be if not a sequel?

DLC? Re-release on new consoles? PC release of RDR?

It could be anything. This isn't confirmation of a sequel.

Id take a PC version of RDR 1 to start. They could remaster it for PC and Next Gen as a way to keep up interest until they get 2 out.
"Gamer" is not a bad word. I identify as a gamer. When calling out those who persecute and harass, the word you're looking for is "asshole." @_DonAdams
