Playing a game cause you like its music.

I dunno if like me any of you people find the music in some games so good you keep on playing them cause of the music. Or just go onto Youtube and listen to them lol.

A few examples of this include:

X-COM Enemy Unknown the combat music
World of Warcraft the Barrens music and the Thunderbluff music (Both the old musics that is)
Mafia II (All of the radio station music)
    All the music in Bioshock
Heroes of Might and Magic 2 and 3 (The City musics)
    The Skyrim music

You can tell your a nerd when you find music from computer games lol, im sure there is more but dont remember atm :P

Most of the songs on my itunes are from video games (like 90%) I don't think I've ever played a game specifically to listen to the music, but if I like a song I'll sure try to find it to download.

Deus Ex, Halo and Mass Effect, I love their themes. I've got a full playlist of soundtracks, and half of that is from video games, and half of that is Mass Effect.

I absolutely loved this. I would let the opening scene play multiple times because I thought it to be quite amazing.

The music is the reason I still play Castlevania, Symphony of the Night. Of course the game is good too. I love Castlevania games. Wish they would make a new one that isnt 3D

As far as I can remember:
    Guilty Gear
    Fallout(s)

And a bunch of songs that are only used on the trailers, when I first heard them.
    For example:
Singularity Trailer - Vasco & Paul Reeves - Stormbreaker

Woodkid - Iron from AC 3
    www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSkb0kDacjs
No rest for the wicked - cagetheelephant - from Borderlands
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5t99bpilCKw
The Heavy- Short Change Hero from Batman Arkham City

Infamous 2 Has the most interesting, impressive and fitting OST I have heard in a long time. I actually listen to it all the time because I like it that much.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wh05rJcIeis One of my favorite tracks in the game.

    Other notable games are:
Bioshock Series, because I love all the old music in those games.
Final Fantasy Series, even though Sephiroth's theme is hyped to be the most notable, Caius' theme is simply the most epic bosstune I have heard so far.
Metal Gear Solid Series has overall some pretty amazing music too. Sins of the Father, give me the full track, nao.
Assassins Cread, especially the second game.

This track from Darksiders 2 tops my list.

I purposely died and kept re-doing this fight just for its music.

The Super Smash Bros and Final Fantasy series' have flawless music in every iteration.

    Rose Online

Some Korean MMO that's probably f2p, but I still like playing it now and then. Catchy tunes.

Honestly I feel like the music has the greatest impact on me liking a game.

Halo overall isn't amazingly exceptional on it's own. With the music it just gets the nudge to the top.

Skyrim's combat and story is very lackluster. The world COMBINED WITH MUSIC makes it one of the greatest games I've ever played.

World of Warcraft gripped me through it's original loading screen music as well as all the PvP videos that introduced me to my own favorite genre of music.

Final fantasy 7, I have downloaded so many remixes its untrue, it was the first game I can truly remember nearly every tune and put it in place in the game, yes I can remember the likes of alex the kidd and sonic but really only the main themes. FF7 is still unbeaten for music imo. Then there is ultima online, I think its the plinky plunky midi style music that sits well with me and gaming.

I've honestly turned on FTL just to have the background music. I probably have the sound track somewhere...

Bastion, of course. I blare that while I'm cleaning the house, or trying to be inspired.
