Republicans blame Obama for poor Katrina response

    http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.co...a-response-was
The link says it all really. Every day it becomes harder to have faith in the intelligence of people who vote on the right.

Backwater states with a poor level of education like Louisiana, is anyone surprised? Not me.
Title should reflect it is a survey in one single state though not GOP'ies as a whole even though I dont doubt it is the same result in most of the south.
But soon after Mr Xi secured a third term, Apple released a new version of the feature in China, limiting its scope. Now Chinese users of iPhones and other Apple devices are restricted to a 10-minute window when receiving files from people who are not listed as a contact. After 10 minutes, users can only receive files from contacts.
Apple did not explain why the update was first introduced in China, but over the years, the tech giant has been criticised for appeasing Beijing.

I blame Obama for a lot of things. He has to be in the top 5 of all time worse presidents in this country. However, I would put George Bush jr and sr in the same grp.:P

Stop being so dramatic. Bush wasn't a "bad" president.

Quite shocking, not as much surprising, and yet..... Are you absolutely sure that's an evaluation only valid for Republicans? Because I am not... I am more compelled to say it's equally spread on both sides...

So we can conclude that when republicans see an option to blame Obama for anything they take it. I'm sure if you made a poll that asked if Obama was to blame for 9/11 you would get a bunch of votes to.

Just for reference Katrina was in 2005 and Obama was elected president in 2008...

Same poll Drew Breeze tied Mother Theresa! I am from Louisiana and I can confirm that yes we do have parts of the state this backwards. I mean christ people they still refer to a black guy sitting on a porch down here as a porch monkey.

I hear racism quite a bit down here. Whoever says racism is dead is on some serious drugs.

No, Bush was't "bad". He was a terrible, wretched, miserable failure of a president. That Obama is probably worse doesn't make Bush any better.

Yet no mention of the mayor or governor of Louisiana at the time.

Just a stupid poll who's intent is to make one side look bad.

    Which Bush? Sr or Jr?
    Does it really matter?

    Now for Obama....
Obama's failure isn't Obama's problem. Obama's failure is entirely artificial, and if anyone's to blame then it's the American public as a whole.
He has been seen and taken as the political messiah of the country. One man to make the long overdue change. And I am pretty convinced that's exactly what he wanted to do.. Just turns out that both - the country and Obama - forgot one key component. Congress!
At this point and time, you could have the most capable and best President the country could ever have in Office, and the outcome would be mediocre at best.

The consistently through times voted top 5 Presidents are:
    George Washington
    Abraham Lincoln
    Franklin D. Roosevelt
    Thomas Jefferson
    Theodore Roosevelt

NONE of these men could achieve anything anywhere close to what they have achieved, if they were President today.

All in all, and this poll reflects it completely.... Americans are in their vast majority blind to the facts how the country is actually ran.
The President is treated as the ultimate power. Anything goes wrong, anything doesn't go the way one wants it. The blame goes to the President. When in fact the Presidents powers are very limited.
If your country wades through one shit pile after another, you should rather tackle those who really cause it.. Not the President (which doesn't mean he's entirely free of any blame) but the Congress who either gets you into the shit holes, or if you are in one doesn't get you out of it because it's more important to argue and not let the other party getting any form of credit and achievement.

For as long as anyone doesn't drop their personal vendetta against the reigning President, chances are you are just as dumb or uneducated like those poll voters...

You can critisize Obama all you want... but I simply cannot fathom how ANYBODY can possibly say that Obama is worse than the President who sent us to two useless wars costing thousands of American and innocent lives, failed to capture Bin-Laden, failed to send aid/response to Katrina, the subsequent pushing forward and OKing of torture, the constant feed of oil field sales of the Iraq War going to his Vice President's interests, and his Republican policies led to the near total collapse of the US and world economy...

But hey, I guess Obama's quick response and defense of Sandy (particularly when it helped a political opponent at the time, Chris Christie), his admin nabbing Bin-Laden, the ending the war in Iraq, the current withdrawal of troops out of Afganastan and efforts to establish good healthcare for all Americans don't mean much... It's like they're saying "if the president doesn't instantly make America like it was in 1984, then he's CRAP!!!"

If Bush was so terrible, wretched, and a miserable failure of a president then why did he get elected a second time? Bush wasn't really that bad. Obama takes over and look at your precious country now, it's not going any better than it was before.
