    Best counter-terrorist organization?

Which counter-terrorist group would you prefer to be a member of? Which would you consider to be the best? And why?

Note: In the poll, I only included strictly counter-terrorist organizations, not special operations groups such as Delta Force and the SAS.

Probably Delta "Force" the worlds most premier special forces group dedicated to the elimination of terrorists

I'd say overall historically Mossad has been the best. GSG-9, SAS, GROM, and the various US units are also very effective. Hard part is many of the details are secret still on all of their missions, so it is hard to compair fully.

After Team America took down FAG I don't know how they can't be on that list.

As a soldier I know where your coming from, but there are special groups out there wholesale dedicated to the elimination of terrorists world wide, I think that's what the OP is referring to.

Why is the FBI team on there and not delta force?

Probably Yamam, Israel forces tend to be rather good at their jobs (mossad and army division)

Or danish PET, pretty good at stopping terrorist here in Denmark

Out of all these I voted GROM. While no one really believes it till they work with then, the Polish SF/CT unit is really top notch.

Out of ones that aren't on here (and the one's I would consider the best aren't) I would have to mention 1st SFOD (Delta), DEVGRU (Seal Team 6), and both the British and Australian SAS. I'd also go ahead and mention the Israeli units as well.

There are world CT games, and the big hitter typically include my aforementioned units, plus the Germans/French/Austrians.

Another one I thought I'd mention, that no one really seems to know about, is the DEA's FAST team. I know some of guys who helped start it, and they're top notch. They train with both Delta and MARSOC.

Where is SAS on this? They probably have the best track record of any of these groups.

    DEnmark has a terrorism threat?

The PET must be badass because I have never even heard of a terrorist coming from Denmark.

Not quite right to do that though, as many nations use spec ops units as thier main counter-terrorist units. Such as SAS storming the Iranian Embassy. Also, GROM is a special force unit.

I would have to say Israel because they have more experience and are probably hardcore.

I agree, MARSOC and Rangers are some of the craziest people I have seen train, but they don't hold anything to the SAS, or Delta.
