RIP Hulk (my dog) miss you soo much

Yesterday was my daughters 2 year birthday party. My little dog got out for the first time and ran straight in the road and got hit in front of everyone. Never thought a damn dog dying would hurt so bad. RIP my lil nigga HULK

Wow, I though this was going to be something about Hulk Hogan dying. Talk about a misleading title.

    Thanks Obama.
These aren't the spoilers you're looking for.

    Move along.

Well, it's been 10 months since my dog Max had to be put down due to high age and a bad hip. I still go through the stages of grief at times, but shorter periods and less often than before.

My dad (55 years old) who shared Max with me, was shaking of sorrow and broke down in front of his family when it dawned upon him that Max wasn't going to get better, that we had reached his final hours in life. I have seen my dad crying once, but shaking and sobbing? Never. So yeah, it was a big surprise to him as well how incredibly painful it was to lose a dog. I prefer to call it "Losing a family member" since people somehow expect you to move on fast if it's an animal. People are different of course, but yeah...how much it hurts and for how long depends entirely on how strongly you felt for the life that left you.

R.I.P Little Hulk, and lots of comfort to you and the rest of your family.

Saw the N-word in the main post, was wondering how long until Themius entered the Thread.

My dog of 15 years was put down a few months back. I wasn't around for it since I moved but it hit me hard. I'm still in a state of denial, to the point of looking forward to seeing my dog during the holidays- but of course remembering its impossible.

I'm 22, so 15 out of 22 years I was with that dog. I understand your pain :/ I really do. It gets better though, and the memories of that pet will stay with you so you'll always remember them with a smile.

Notice that my post isn't on the OP and then read your post, then realize you make no damn sense.

My deepest condolences. As someone who lived for about about 35 years of his life with dogs and had to say say good bye to several furry family members, I feel your pain. None of my dogs was run over by a car, but our 2nd dog, Teddy, had to be taken down in 2000 because he had a severe case of hepatitis. When it dawned on me I simply had to leave the vet's office, sit down on a bench and bawl my manly eyes out.
You will still remember him fondly in the years to come.

Thnx i just wanted a couple people to tell him rip and understand how i feel...last night while while was smoking i accually poured out a lil bit of jin for him...see it all the time on TV so was like fuck it. But what it really makes me realise is i have kids and i cant even imagine the damage that losing a kid would bring to someones mindframe.
