I definitely prefer digital. The boxes just take up room for me; however, I do understand how people would enjoy this. I have excellent internet so there are very few games I can't download in under an hour.

Physical if there's no DRM tied.

Digital, especially if it's an MMO, and allows me to install it before it's "unlocked" at midnight of the release date. If it's a console game, I only go physical for that, unless of course it's a free game on PS+ or something.

Physical for single player, digital for multiplayer.

I think physical copies will slowly shift towards collector's, limited and other exclusive packaging editions. For those cases when you want to "own" the game and showcase it on a bookshelf.

For everything else, digital. Heck even with the stuff I buy physically I usually make a digital copy thats easier to work with.

Physical collectors editions for WoW, otherwise digital, often via Steam.

If I just want to play a game, digital.

However, I love to collect game, so I want every unopened physical copy out there.

I don't know why anyone would want a physical copy these days, unless it were some kind of collector's edition.

Physical media in general is on the way out. Game consoles are one of the only things keeping it around.

After having to move house multiple times and seeing the amount of junk I amass in boxes that I don't need / use - digital all the way.

Digital all the way. If a game aint digital. It aint for me.

dvd's and waiting for a game is a thing of the past

Depends on the game. Stuff like bethesta games I always bought in boxes as stuff like maps often followed.

I get physical copies of my 3ds games and single player games. For an mmo I get digital. Id prefer to have a physical copy in my hand so I can play it the instant I pick it up.

I like my physical copies, but really just because I like my collector's editions all
lined up neatly on a shelf.

If I'm not getting a CE, then I like digital. Buuuut living where I do, games literally
take days to download digitally. =/

Digital, mostly for the sake of convenience. There's only so much room in my apartment and whilst it can be nice to collect things they generally just end up sitting in the same place and rarely used.

Gotta be physical. I don't feel like I actually own a game if it's only digital.

Well download limits for one could be a pain, Used to be 50gb a month at my provider, while that is fine for normal day to day use, it was not what I would call heaps.

Even so, i still like to have a physical copy unless it's some cheaper/smaller game, do also like to get some C.E.'s

I have unlimited and fast internet but I still go for physical copies. I love collecting the little bonuses that you usually get with pre-orders. Only time I buy digital is during a Steam sale for my PC. I also lend my games to my friends so that's another bonus to physical when it comes to consoles.

    PC - Digital
    Console - Physical
