should i sell a legendary recipe in the ah now or use it in RoS?

    its http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/artisan/b...pe/sages-grasp

the question is if i craft the set on lvl 70 do i get the items in the lvl 70 version?

i dont plan to craft in d3v

    Crafting legendaries/sets doesn't scale - if it's a level 60 recipe it'll craft the level 60 item even when you're level 70.

If you don't plan to craft at all then there's no reason not to sell it whilst the AH is up I suppose.

There are achievements, though! Learn it. Don't think you'll make much gold selling it anyway.

Sage's plight recipe is currently up at 37 million on the EU. Whether it'll sell or not, who knows, but that's a fair chunk of change for the expansion. Personally I'd keep it since I'd actually craft it.

I'd imagine it's to have a good gear to start the expansion with. Makes the levelling part go quickly. Or just to farm paragon for the time being.

I found Griswolds Maters or whatever the recipe was named. I sold it for 100 mill on the EU AH. But this was on the first day of the patch, so not sure how much you would get now :P.

Just under 10 here. Of course I don't touch the AH and play primarily solo with the occasional two manning.

Sell it. The way patterns drop now is if you learn it it won't drop again. So sell them all now because they WILL drop again.

If they don't drop again, do you really want another legendary drop to be wasted on a pattern?

Out of the 100+ that I've found so far, only two are actually being worn. So if legendary plan drop rates are in fact tied to your actual legendary drops (I would like to see a source to back up your claim that they are), I would much rather take 35mil+ than a 10k brimstone.

What's the deal with Hellfire Ring then? There's an achievement for crafting a level 70 version.

New versions of it AFAIK. http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/artisan/j.../hellfire-ring completly different mats, 10% exp more, and no guaranteed base stat roll.
Found helm of command (50M) and some bracers of something or other (?????) that was 30M. Sold both, instantly bought. I don't get why people would want them, I'd much rather sit on a fat pile of cash come enchanting.
And I tend to agree - the vast majority of my legendaries have been trash (even the ones I've gotten for my wizard that I just dinged yesterday and then spent 20M on the AH gearing to do torment 2-3). Using a total of 2 out of +20 I've found. I'd much rather have a pattern that sells for 30M (essentially paying everything I spent on the char + more to get it farming adequate), than another freaking blackthorne's surcoat (had 3 of those. Got 1 part of 3 different sets, too - Tal rasha, blackthorne, Natalya's).

She probably meant the other crafting items - the ones with level requirements.

As for HF rings, as I understand it, there are now two versions of HF ring - the legacy version (where you choose Vit, Str, Dex, Int), using legacy mats and legacy Infernal Machines; and the new one (one type, uses Smart Loot) which requires a different set of mats, and different, specific Infernal Machines (i.e machines no longer port you randomly, you choose which portal to make). The achievement likely refers to the new version of the ring.

As others have said, it will be new mats/new stats.

Side note, start to watch the price of two things. Perfect Square gems and Fiery Brimstone. In this they made it so you can craft BoA necks again (I only recommend doing it if you have a really bad neck roll.) Right now the price to buy 1 Perfect Square is just over double the cost what buying 3 Flawless Square gems will cost. So you can easily make some quick gold if you get on in fast.

100+ 2.0 legendaries and only using 2? I don't believe you. I don't have a blue post saying it, but I have first hand experience. In a 2.5 hour period last night the only legendary I got was an Artisan 4 plan for a bow.

Additionally, there aren't many plans that sell for that much.

Lets seeing going into patch 2.0 I had a 400k dmg Archon Wizard. How many upgrades do you think there are going to be for me? The only upgrade I got on that toon was a pair of Pox Faulds because the weapon dmg is OP on the cloud. Everything else is around a 15-50% dmg loss. Sure I can gain 10% toughness or 50% healing. But the fact that I can farm T4 like nothing means I'm not going to start dumping dmg stats for survival stats to just do T6.

I also think you missed my point. I said 35+ million. Not oh hey a plan that sells for 20k better sell it, rather than learn it. Seven sins, you pick, 150+ million now or a pattern you will almost never use just to "learn" it.

EDIT: I lied, I built a new Hellfire Ring to replace my old one. So she is wearing two new items.
