Looks like Rocksteady is developing this one and loved Asylum/City and while I loved Origins it had the feel that it wasn't quite Rocksteady so it'll be nice to play Arkham Knight. Not to mention playable Batmobile?! Sign me up. Wonder how it's going to be incorporated.

Playable Harley Quinn (preorder) could be interesting too if it's done like the Nightwing DLC in City. Granted, it's pre-order but we know it'll be a DLC at some point you can buy or get with GotY.

Only problem is while the batmobile design they went with I don't mind, I just wish it was the 60's/TAS version as those I've loved more.

Also, Rocksteady needs to make a movie of some sort with the way they do their cinematic and graphics.

I haven't watched the trailer yet (at work), but plan to once I get home.

If this picks up following the events of Arkham City, then color me intrigued. I thought the story was heading to an interesting place with the finale of AC, and I wanted more out of Harley's Revenge than what I got. Origins failed to interest me much (I'll play it eventually though) because it was not covering the supremely interesting situation we left Batman at in AC.

Well Unless raising the dead is common in Batman or Joker somehow pulled a David Copperfield, that won't be happening

Also, are we absolutely sure that this game is set post-Arkham city, not post Arkham Origins?

I expect that Scarecrow will poison Batman and Batman will be haunted with the "apparition" of Joker throughout the game.

If Scarecrow is the main baddie then post AC makes sense due to all the hints and Easter Eggs point to him planning something big.

As Edge- said. Rocksteady didn't develop Origins. WB did and they just used the prelayout Rocksteady had and refined it to the way they wanted it.

I haven't seen anything saying the setting, but watching the trailer they had there was no sign of Joker so I'm assuming it's Post Arkham City, especially since the email I got said "The end of a trilogy". So this would mean Joker won't be in it due to Arkham City.

So far it looks like (and according to the email) Scarecrow, Penguin, Two Face, and Harley Quinn are majors. Curious to see what storyline they use with them all playing possibly a major role and what side villians we'll see. More than likely Riddler again with all his clues and riddles.

Tell me about it. I enjoyed the others and definitely looking forward to this. I'm just hoping some of the Steam groups I'm in get keys to it at the $15-20 rate instead of $40-60 since they are usually retailers selling it.

Next Gen is irrelevant now until they release more information on new consoles (several years).
Cross Gen probably means the same as Cross Platform (multiple)
Last Gen refers to PS3 and Xbox 360 (in this case).

So this release is a "Current Gen"
