London, Apr 16 (ANI): Newly released FBI files claim that Adolf Hitler escaped by submarine to Argentina where he lived in a heavily guarded ranch at the end of the Second World War suffering from asthma and ulcers.

An amazing cache of files shows that J Edgar Hoover's FBI took claims of Hitler's survival seriously and a team was assigned to exploring scores of tip offs.

The astonishing documents detail how an Argentinean fugitive claimed he helped Hitler, two women and other Germans disembark from a submarine in the South American country approximately two and half weeks after the fall of Berlin in April 1945, the Daily Express reported.

i highly doubt he only had asthma and ulcers. the dude shook like a leaf, constantly. he even tried to hide it most of the time from his men. in later videos of him, you can see he's not trying as hard to hide it. so even if he did escape, i'd say he didn't live too long.

Other tip-offs to the FBI suggested Hitler was actually living in New York City, again without his moustache, while some suggested he was hiding with Nazi sympathisers in the German speaking part of Switzerland.

Hitler lost his shit and most likely had syphilis eating away at his brainstem for years before the Nazis were defeated. To act like he lived for another 50 years in Brazil (or NYC apparently) is pretty hilarious.

These 'documents' are reports handed to them by an informer who wanted asylum. Its the same reason torture doesn't work. People will say anything if they think their gain is big enough.

Official documents pertaining to hundreds if not thousands of tip offs, a lot of paranoia surrounded Hitlers demise and the soviets didn't help; As such teams were created to deal with Nazis who evaded justice and a tip off regarding Hitlers demise or potential life (as unlikely as it is) was treated with such diligence afforded to others they received.

But just because a tip-off comes in doesn't mean it's believable or even factual.

I know it's edgy and cool to imagine Hitler got away and has a super secret zombie base on the moon, but he killed himself and was burnt; That's as much as we can state with any reasonable amount of certainty at least.

And tip offs from a fugitive don't really do anything to contradict that, y'kno, beside showing how laughably false the claims a fugitive would make for a pardon.
