What's going on with the servers?

on the EU servers (EU-Outland) you are alone in the world and you can't see anyone, and you can only whisper or talk in general, and about everyone has the same problem in general chat.

YEP same here. Playing along just fine before heading to work & they just HAD to do this restart & made it worse.

I find it.. somewhat hilarious, in a sad sense, that they release one small patc that literally does nothing in like 6 months and they manage to break EVERYTHING.

They didn't break everything, they broke barely anything at all.

Inability to play at all is something I'd consider "breaking everything". But perhaps it's different in the Blizzard fanboy land.

Is this issue also affecting people on the US realms? I've heard suggestions that only characters which have started the legendary quest line are affected.

Pretty much all NA servers are up the duff lots of very pissed off people on my servers trade as no one can raid because of this crap https://twitter.com/blizzardcseu_en don't expect much from there though..

Well what i found out so far is that it has to be Timeless gear and SoO gear related

I logged my main and I was all alone, I could talk in general and whisper people but i couldnt see anyone or any NPC. When i tried to change spec ( remove gear ) i was DC.
I tried to log my alt ( lvl90 with SoO and Timeless gear ) he was stuck at 90% loading, he was on Timeless isle.
Then i tried on my lvl60 horde that I havent played in 7 years, and it worked. I was in Ogrimmar and i could see ppl and npc.
Then i tried my lvl85 alliance char and it worked, i was able to see ppl in SW, talk to them, inv to group and make raid. But they didnt see me and they looked stuck. and only players that had at least 1 SoO item or Timeless item, other lvl90s that did worked fine.

Can play alts no problem but anything with the newly upgradable stuff seems to exist on it's own seperate server. That french hamster must be earning his euros today.

I can't even login. They're saying something about a news on the login screen but all I can see is the scheduled maintenance one, which should have ended ~2,5h ago. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
