Expansion that Shadow Priest was most OP in PVP?

What expansion was Shadow Priests the most OP in PvP? (For 1v1 / 1v2)
This would be for on final patch of an expansion with all players in BIS gear

In Vanilla, Spriest was almost unbeatable 1v1, except against warlocks with puppy out or the infamous "3 minute mages". They were also quite strong in BC, but since then they have been steadily neutered when it comes to PvP, to the point that in BfA/SL, spriest was pretty much autolose against any melee other than ret paladins.

How were they in WoD and MoP? Were they still better for 1v1 PvP in vanilla than in MoP and WoD?

Currently SP is in a good place 1v1 compared to often in WoW history. 1vX SP is at it's lowest point. BFA probably my favorite for 1v1 and also had good 1vX, alot cuz of rogues not countering as hard anymore.

    OG van WOW and MOP

SP was rather OP in they could 1 vs 1 beat locks. modern Classic WOW was built on different client and on the last patch that was a set up for TBC where Fmage and afflock got insane buffs which was evident in the 1 vs 1 tournament for level 60s in 2019/2020, and why this repeated in 2023 HC WOW 1 vs 1 tournament.

Cata gave them insane healing without having to drop shadowform along with other damage negation abilities making them virtually a disco priest hybrid, they got even better heading to MOP

MOP they were rather OP there was QQ on the spec as it became seriously strong after patch 5.4, hitting 1.5 health pool with raid gear, so OP subterfuge rogues complained SPs. what temporarily nerfed them was QQ by PVPrs was PVP gear vs legendary cloak and raid gear.. Blizzard did a nerf that when in WPVP or BGs there was a scale up in PVP gear to be higher than raid gear, with the legendary cloak not working or scaled down,
