thorim soloable by everyone in 6.0

    hello

just do thorim on ulduar in the beta, don't have anymore the problem in the corridor during combat. Don't try if it's new or already in 5.4.8 but for me, thorim corridor and yogg saron sanity are a problem for soloing mount

EDIT : no sanity problem for yogg saron 25 but you need 2 more trashs to kill sara in P1 (she stays at 45k and don't want to die after the 4th) and the passage to the brain doesn't open when you kill all the trashs in the room before the brain so yogg unkillable for the moment

On live it current takes 8 or 9 adds to push Sara. Have they implemented the stat changes for old raids? My main can't currently copy over so I haven't tried. Another thing to try would be Valythria in ICC.

Valythria is skippable door behind her is always open

They mentioned many month ago that as of 6.0 you'd be able to skip Valithria, and that Thorim wouldn't throw the glowing death ball of doom if you were solo.

Huh? How is Yogg not soloable right now? Plenty of people kill him every week.

I guess some classes may have trouble with the debuffs from the tentacles, but kill them quick enough and I guess people do solo him every week. There are certainly a bunch of videos showing it.

Never tried it myself, the odd occasions I do go I go with a friend, rather than pulling him in just for Thorim, we do the whole lot, still (slowly, haven't been there for months), working on his Vala'nyr.

Yogg is soloable but requires some gear and/or good rng on tentacle spawns. I just duo it 7 times weekly because it's easier than soloing (and I'd probably only be able to solo it on 3-4 chars anyway).

Yoggs only issue is non-facing spells for killing constrictors (25m). This shouldn't be an issue with how much damage we will do on low level targets in comparison to now in WoD I imagine

I find a could of thrash/swipes, or fan of knives kills the constrictor quick enough, so any PBAoE should work if your class has them. Which might suck for some classes yeah.

For Ret and Prot Paladins, and Destro Locks, does Vezax now allow you to regenerate mana?

Do they not on live already? As enhancement theres a second debuff that lets me regenerate mana but reduces healing

Yes, you can regenerate mana, because your melee-mana regeneration is not broken

The classes I listed, to realistically function, all require their mana regen to work, but they do not.

Glider from Timeless Isle allows everyone to skip her, right?

Retribution Paladins do NOT get to replenish mana on the live build atm. I solo him each week but have to auto attack the last 10% of his health.

Misread the post I was quoting. Haven't slept yet. My post is still true for the future, though.

as does enhancement if you ever played it. I said.

THERE IS A SECOND DEBUFF. That is why I was asking.

    For shamans: http://www.wowhead.com/spell=68415

And since it also came up, for paladins: http://www.wowhead.com/spell=64646

Comments suggest it affects retri too?

You might want to rethink that Paladin link, considering it leads to Cone of Cold, cast by the Winter Rumbler NPC

http://www.wowhead.com/spell=64646 is the droid you're looking for.

The only comment mentioned Ret Paladins has been downvoted, and the top comment refers to Holy Paladins.

It could of course apply/buff Ret Paladins though, I couldn't definitively say either way, the Ret I run with never complains about mana, but we 2 man him, so he dies a fair bit quicker /shrug

The only comment was downvoted because he said 75% not 90%. I think its far more likely people just assume because a fight worked one way in wrath it was never changed without even noticing their own debuffs and if they see themselves drop below 50% mana at all (something which at least happens naturally for enha occasionally) claim its due to the mechanic

The ret pala comment was also actually made during live content as oppose to beta

http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/8178457954 says no regen for Rets. The post was made March 2013, so what, patch 5.2, 5.3 maybe.

Even if they don't change it, come level 100 you'll kill him in 10 seconds just auto attacking

They did make it work for the DPS during WotLK, then broke it at a later point with class changes and crap (for paladins anyway).

Fair enough, seems very odd to make it work for enhancement and not for other sthough.

A simple tweet would get that fixed I reckon, given enhancement already gets it there's no argument not for other specs (or just remove the damn thing)
