Pretty great. Was voted the best city in the country for young rich singles a while ago by some publication.

    I live in Biddeford ME.

It is next to Saco, which is next to Scarborough, which is next to Portland.

The closer to Portland, the less ghetto it is. And Portland is a great little sea-side town.

    Groningen, the Netherlands.

Studenty (>25% of inhabitants are students), laid-back, and amiable.

I don't think you know Hitler very well, specially considering the freeway part, if that has anything to do with Winnipeg.
With that being said, I'll just leave out a few points people make about this city (outsiders)

A place that's too small to be a city, but wants so badly to be one. Where nothing happens, and most of the people here are supremely close-minded. Fun times.

It's suppose to be a tourist hot spot as cruise liners come into to the place every summer and dozens of tourist come into the town. But there isn't anything for them to do so they go back on board the cruise ship angry and upset.

This is pretty much Winnipeg in a nutshell.

Boring and lame, nothing for young people to do, awful internet, mediocre infrastructure, mediocre schools... but I will move in 1-2 months to a university city (Kiel, Germany) and I like it so far

Dude, Finland has 187888 lakes and is like 1/3rd the size of Ontario.

Very Polish and quite a few Latvians, Lithuanians who like to carry knives. The Latvians and Lithuanians hate each other here so fighting is frequent, lots of drugs in circulation and crime has risen.

    So a bit shit really.

I live in San Diego California. So imagine any place in Mexico and that's pretty much what its like. Only with less poverty and cleaner water.

    Diverse. Economically, socially and politically.

The "downtown" is pretty compact, but full of gorgeous, mostly well maintained architecture. Many wonderful restaurants, good public transport, great professional jobs abound, decent universities.

The outlaying areas, neighborhoods vary a lot. From mega-rich white people living in Frank Lloyd Wright homes being just a 1/4 mile from some of the most economically devastated areas of abandoned factories and ramshackle drug houses. Moving outward to the suburbs, it is is a mix of forcibly displaced families of lower incomes, affluent professionals and a lot of blue collar/middle class families.

Some areas are fiercely conservative, some areas highly liberal. Overall the city tends toward the left side of American politics. Do not to the same degree of my hometown of NYC.

There are great neighborhoods of mostly Italian, Chinese, Korean, Puerto Rican, Mexican, Polish, Greek and Irish. Real deal, no bullshit, neighborhoods. But there is also a lot of integration among those ethnic groups. Polish, Mexican and Korean neighbors are not uncommon or unusual as coworkers.

I can walk two blocks from my house and be at an Italian supermarket, go three blocks in another direction and be amongst a hubub of middle eastern restaurants, open air cafes and excited language. In an hour flat, I can go from the end of my block to the lakefront and dine on some finest food in the country.

A twenty min drive takes me to the country side, cruise by mansions owned by lawyers and stock brokers. Or walk three blocks from my front door and have an exclusive gated community lined with expensive cars on the north end of the street and people sleeping under the freeway directly across the street.

We can drive 30 mins and be in an area with one of the highest murder rates in the United States.

    I live in Chicago.

Haha, I'm in Selkirk Manitoba which is just 20 minutes north of Winnipeg... the Mosquitos are a god damn nightmare this year. We've had so much rain, it's ridiculous.

But to sum up Selkirk for everyone, we're a small town of 10,000 people, we have a walmart, and it's boring as hell here.

Socialist democratic majority in the townhall atm, need I say more?
But soon after Mr Xi secured a third term, Apple released a new version of the feature in China, limiting its scope. Now Chinese users of iPhones and other Apple devices are restricted to a 10-minute window when receiving files from people who are not listed as a contact. After 10 minutes, users can only receive files from contacts.
Apple did not explain why the update was first introduced in China, but over the years, the tech giant has been criticised for appeasing Beijing.

50 - 75 degrees 90% of the year, which I love. I get to wear a jacket just about every day of the year, or a t-shirt with a jacket close by. Culture as far as the eye can see, though some of it you may not want to see. There's something for just about everyone here. Even if you like country farm lifestyle, you go 2 hours out of the city and there's plenty of that. Tons of nature, tons of entertainment, tons of food, coffee, alcohol, just about anything you like, you can find it in San Francisco.

If you're ok with overwhelming socialist and liberalist views; complete and utter lack of morality and ethics; and the high cost (though you can live in this city for < 15k/yr), then San Francisco is the city for you!
