Nerraw, why are you hoarding your gold? Did you get all the heroes but don't have any more level 10s to buy master skins for? Or are you just saving for the mount?

I'm sitting on 28K gold atm, and pretty sure there are many who have more than mine. I've still got about 10-15 heroes to level up to 5. Currently mulling over which specialist to buy as I have none. (Sylvanas and Gazlowe are my top choices so far because of playstyle - and I've not gotten a chance to play many others yet) . Since there are no heroes at level 10, and that many master skins are not worth it, those are not a prio. I'll also buy Lil-Li but since she's 2k gold, its a non issue.

I think what contributed the most to our victory was the Vikings and Abathur pushing while Raynor, Nova, and I roamed for skulls. I was popping my shields, Oracle, and Rewind at every chance I could. When things got dicey in the mines, I dipped back out and helped the Vikings and the locusts push lanes. Abathur made good work with using Ultimate Evolution on Raynor and Nova to get the few kills we secured.

I've been in a similar boat (getting beat on in HM early and mid by a decent team and coming back into the game through pushing power).

I can't comment on the talents much aside from TLV L20 pick - which is a monster talent on any hero - and one of my favourites. It dos give a lot of pushing power. A few tips for HM which most people overlook:

-Try to push the forts early game before the 1st mine opens - if there are a couple of deaths, you are back in the game fast anyway.
-On the first golem, just get 50 and run out and have someone to push the forts.
-On subsequent golems just stick together and contest the mines safely. If there are too many enemies in the mines, just get out and push
-Try to push the lane where your golem is absent. What this will do is force someone to try and kill you off, and you can use this to buy some time for your golem if it's up since not all the enemy team will be there to kill it. Otherwise they can lose their forts pretty fast
-do the well known brusier camp strat for detroying enemy golems: cap the bruiser camp when enemy golem is likely to be near it so that the mercs do damage to it.

It is likely that your team was doing any one of these things very well which meant that by late game, you all just could gang up on the core and ignore everything else. You want to ideally have a group in a place where the other team is not contesting you, (exception is mines when you're after the skulls)

I would recommend Zagara or Nazeebo as your first specialist. They're good all-rounders while Gazlowe and Sylvanas are close to useless on some maps while only being just above average on their good maps.

I agree with this, however I'd be inclined to actually suggest Sylvanas as the first specialist anyway. Simply because she's basically an Assassin with a bit of extra "And fuck your fort" power built in. So it's a very similar playstyle to Valla (in my opinion), but a good way to get into specialists and learning when to prioritise the towers or the champs/minions/objectives/whatever.

Although, you should definitely take Sylvanas as your 2nd specialist if you're doing any kind of Hero League. If you know how to play her, she's almost (depending on your teammates) solely responsible for wins on Haunted Mines.

Possibly Zagara, maybe not Nazeebo so much. He's a bit higher skill req. than Zagara purely because you can get most (if not all) of your team murdered if you do a Zombie Wall in the wrong place or at the wrong time - Taken from personal experience. Though I guess with Maw you could end up doing the same as Zag - Save them all from combined ultis of your team then let them clean up.

I used to, and to some degree still, love Zagara as my main specialist but Sgt. Hammer has really grown on me. I love her style and usually use her to push down lanes. With my build, usually get vampiric and first aid, I can get most merc camps solo and in decent time. The only thing is that you always, ALWAYS have to be mindful of your position. But honestly, once I get to level 7, very little can force me out of the lane.

oh yeah I forgot about nazeebo , good option as well . I have some practice on him as well. my only disappointment with him is that ravenous spirit, an interesting heroic, gets shut down in team fights if ur opponents are any good, and I feel like im pigeonholed into the gargantuan heroic.
I haven't tried zagara so will wait till shes on free rotation

Yeah, I usually grab Gary instead of spirit. It can do a lot of damage. And past 20 it gets beyond insane against mercs and buildings if you decide to upgrade.

Well, I also push as abathur, but clearly, its my fault before starting the game already :P
Meh, halfway through the match I couldnt even be bothered anymore anyway. Just focussed on laning from that stage on , copy when there was a TF starting and not really bother with hatting anyone.

Yes, it's like the Go To option. It's just very simple and intuitive - like D3 WD.

RS can net you some hero kills, but only against lesser skilled teams. RS is also nice on pushing in the few tests that I've done. But that interrupt on stun - just so much rage comes out.

I'm not allowed to play today. Queue as assassin/specialist: Get full assassin/specialist teams. Queue as warrior: No assassins. Queue as support: Get full assassin teams. I can't win no matter what I do.

I am now convinced i am cursed, at least every other game i get in either mode has a nova.

What did i do wrong to deserve this? This has been going on for days, it is even happening when i pair up with others in QM reducing the chance of this happening.
