They basically used her as bait, forgot about her momentarily, which led to her being raped.

On top of this the administrators either kept their jobs or were promoted.

The school shreds disciplinary records every year and in order for a sexual assault to-be investigated there must be a third person present to witness... What a fucked up situation.

In true victim blaming fashion the vice principal said the girl was responsible for herself.

All staff involved should be fired the school administration regardless of involvement. They should all pay damages to the poor girl and her family. The boy who raped her(and likely others gods only know what "kissing" REALLY means) should be psychologically evaluated and locked away or sent to a VERY secure treatment center varying by results.

No matter what this entire scenario is horrific and appalling.

The boy got a five day suspension for the rape... He had a long history of touching, groping, and sexual assault. Even paid someone to beat up a girl, yet all he has had has been in school suspension. Like what the fuck? You rape, you grope, repeatedly, and all you get is in school suspension?

If I were a justice I would go further than charging the admin with 'deliberate indifference' - the school admins would be guilty of rape by association.

Coaxing a 14 year old into a 'sting' with a known sexual offender should be provably criminal. Further, the argument that they can't be sure if she consented.... I don't even know where to start:
a) she's a minor, she cannot legally consent
b) she reported his repeated attempts to lure her to a school official beforehand, so clearly she did not intend to consent
c) she refused to participate until assured she wasn't at risk

This incident is so far beyond fucked up I can't even process it. How do you rack up a long and storied history of sexual assaults against fellow students and still be allowed unfettered access to potential victims? I now that it allow in US but entrapment is not legal in most of the western legal system. My first question is why the teen was not on a youth detention falsity or mental care falsity after his first string of sexual and violent misconduct....
