    Clicker Heroes

    This is like that cookie clicker game but way more enjoyable to me. Saw a guy on Youtube playing it and was intrigued.... hours later.

    I was surprised someone posted this as I have been playing it for months and its in my next tab right now.

    Unfortunately, its a heavy time waster and after level 100. It drags you in for a while but you have to wait weeks to level up just to pass one boss.

    I stopped looking at it for a month just to come back to ascend a level and do everything all over again.

    Okay, I could do the same thing in Diablo 2 and I'd be more entertained. What's the appeal of this again, cause I think it went the fuck over my head.

    It condences the addictiveness of some games (stat increases) to the bare minimum. I personally enjoy this more than Diablo 3 endgame. Basically you kill some dudes, get money to hire dudes that kill dudes (so that you don't have to click yourself anymore).
    In diablo it would be I kill some dudes to get items to kill more dudes. In essence it's pretty similar (on why they're addictive) I would say.

    Edit: also...be happy it went over your head...because I think the world lost a lot of productivity when for example Cookie Clicker came out. It's like digital cocaine.

    A pretty sweet game to play while watching a movie or something as it doesn't demand much active play besides the initial hours. I'm at lvl 972 atm, gonna try to push lvl 1000 today.

    Once the next ability of a hero no longer is visible, does it mean they no longer have new abilities you can get? They seem to have different number of abilities, and I think there was at least once instance where I couldn't see a new ability at like level 75, but when I bought level 76, it appeared.

    Well, I guess it's safe to just buy at least one skill advance level extra (ie. 50, 75, 100, 125, 150 and so on) for everyone.

    Yeah, pretty much the only reason to click is for the x number of clicks achievements.

    Yay for pinned tabs in Firefox, so I can have it running without it taking up tab space and getting in the way
