2.5 levels in 12 hours. Am I failure?

I started playing WoD yesterday morning say 9am till about 10ish at night add or take away an hour and I only got to level 92 (and a half, yes a half). I'm totally embarrassed. It wasn't even the lag that got to me or d/cs my game was running smoothly. I haven't done much in garrisons either just sent a few minions on some missions. And that's it.

    Is that bad?

Lots of people were dinging 100 left right and centre even people who started playing after me.

I blame the fact that I was not prepared for this expansion. I didn't read up on anything as I was busy and now I'm overwhelmed. At this rate I may reach 100 by xmas.

It's not about how fast you are during leveling, it's about the fun! If you quest slowly then it's nothing to be embarrassed about, different people have their different styles.

There are many level guides around if you wish to read up some stuff, too

Does is really matter? As long as you're enjoying yourself take your time, there's no rush to 100 unless you want to gear up for some serious raiding when raids come in 2 weeks.

I'm playing blind as well, what fun would it be with a guid telling you where to go when you first experience the expansion content?

Yes, but not for the reason you think you are.

There really doesn't seem to be a reason to rush to cap. Enjoy yourself and take your time. Don't feel bad if you're taking longer than others.

Why would that ever be embarressing? It's your game, you should play it exactly as you like to. If that's doing it slowly, taking your time, then that is perfectly fine.

I am level 91,90 (91.90 for you americans) or so. I've been really enjoying the barracks, and have also been fishing, cooking, done quite a bit of archeology and just generally been riding around, finding rares and interesting stuff, like this giant mushroom in the middle of the ocean. There was nothing there, but on the way I found a rare that is not anywhere near the quest areas, and it was just fun to find new sights.

Yeah as long as you have fun it really doesn't matter how quick you are compared to others.

I'm still only level 90.5, if i'm lucky I might actually be allowed in my Garrison at some stage so I can level

    Yeah this doesn't make sense.

Yup, not sure why it bothers you....it shouldn't. I'm taking it slowly the first time around as well. Try to read all quest etc. I'm even avoiding bonus objectives as to not out level zones too much. Garrisons really is distracting lol. When I start leveling alts then I'll go for speed.

There were other players in my garrison. I tried asking them to leave in whispers but they ignored me. So much for player housing *rolls eyes*

92.5 ish as well and with how unstabble the servers have been and not really trying to rush it, i think you are doing just fine

I leveled my first 90 over the course of about a week just to savor the experience. I am mostly a failure when it comes to WoW (and everything else lol), but I had fun.

It is bad if you planned on rushing to 100 as fast as possible. Otherwise, nope.

He's basically calling you a failure for worrying so much about the time it takes to level up, and your fear of being left behind, instead of focusing on enjoying the game.

The raids don't release until the third of December, that's more than two weeks from now. There's no need to rush.

You are owning me due to the lag and my garrison being broke in 12 hours I haven't even gotten one level.
I stare at an empty garrison unable to turn in the first two quests I got from there.
The rest if the world is empty so can't kill mobs or elites for xp.
If I travel to far from my garrison I get ported back with the error port failed and stare at the empty garrison again.
This has been going in for me since 2pm us central time.
Thanks blizz this sucks and only took 14 months for this crap.

I spent whole day grinding exp on mobs to 92 because Shadowmoon is completely unplayable on Silvermoon. There's this garrison bottleneck quest that doesn't want to let players through. So fuck that.

I moved forward to Gorgrond and quested away from 92 to 94 in less than 2 hours.

Leveling looks pretty quick when the fucking servers will be fixed and the initial rush passes. Will have fun leveling my alts to 100 definitely.

"The raids"... what about the WoW anniversary NEXT WEEK that opens up a lvl100 version of molten core? That's a raid, a mighty big one at that
